This detached, single-storey coach house built in 1833 is ideal for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The open plan living space is well planned, with a well-equipped kitchen with electrical appliances. The beamed living area boasts a cosy wood burner and comfy sofa to curl up on and relax, alongside a dining area to sit and enjoy your morning brunch or evening supper. The spacious bedroom with arched window and shutter looks out onto the garden, with a king size bed set with quality bed linen. Outside is a large, enclosed lawned garden and wooded area with gravelled terrace, set within shrubbery and looking out to open countryside where you can see an array of wildlife.

Conveniently close to the A697, Shawdon Hill Coach House affords easy access to explore this beautiful and historic part of North Northumberland. The market town of Alnwick with its castle, the stunning Alnwick Gardens and a wide array of independent shops, galleries and eateries is just 8 miles away. The picture-postcard town of Rothbury sitting at the foot of the Simonside and Lordenshaw Hills, with Cragside Hall on its outskirts, is 9 miles away. Wooler is a welcoming market town 11 miles from the property, nestled at the foot of the Cheviot Hills and offering a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
