Great two night stay

Lovely two night stay in Alnwick with lots of local parking and easy stroll into the town with good selection of bars and restaurants. Great location for exploring the magnificent Northumberland coastline. Room was really comfortable and host Tracey very friendly,

Little gem of a property, full of charm. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed and excellent shower. Beautiful view of the castle. Stone entrance steps steep and lots of narrow stairs, however this is expected in older properties. An excellent stay, would highly recommend.

Great location directly opposite the castle entrance at Alnwick with parking included. Great host with lots of useful tips on places to visit and where to eat. Great continental breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.

A charming room.

I liked the little additions such as plenty of premium teas and biscuits (even though I don’t drink tea or eat biscuits) and magazines for reading. The room had charm, plenty of space and storage and was decorated like a home.

Great Central spot.

The room was fine, for such and old property without a straight wall or floors. Looking right across at the castle it was comfortable. Plenty of teas of different flavours and coffee on hand. Very welcoming hosts who let us use the parking permit through out our stay.

Lovely place very quint If your looking for a king size bed try elsewhere Location is excellent as is the area around lots of places to eat but you do need to book at the more well known places.

This is an amazing place with as it says views of Alnwick Castle just across the road. This 18th century property is delightful and Tracy who could not of been more helpful provides breakfast in the room, including fruit and joghurt, cereals, pastries toast with fruit juice and coffee /tea. Highly recommended if you staying in Alnwick!!!

Tracey gets a 10/10, Daphne and Daisy also get 10/10. The room was beautiful, CLEAN and the hosting was top notch. Great breakfast, and i felt very safe here. Only negative for me was that i couldnt sleep one night and the bed was a little too firm for my liking but thats entirely my preference, cannot fault hosts or the beautiful b&b. Please note, there is a lot of stairs incase youd like to pack lightly! Would 100% stay again

Lovely Host and Room

The host is very kind and brings a breakfast tray to order at an agreed time. The building is old and quirky with wonky floors, stairs etc, but decorated nicely and perfectly clean and functional. Good hot water pressure in the shower, even on the top floor. Parking was no problem while we were there, with the permit provided, but note the nearest parking bays are a short 2 minute walk away from the rooms, spaces are not specifically allocated and the public can park there (with restrictions). We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay there again on our next visit.

Great location parking with permit nearby

This property is in a great location and the proprietor allows use of her parking permit so it is possible to park close to the premises.Our continental breakfast was delivered to our room at 9am each day and was lovely.The room was a bit tired but this didn't affect our experience.This accommodation might not suit people with limited mobility as it is accessed by a steep narrow staircase,the property is georgian, we were OK with it but could be an issue

Great little stay

Great stay and Tracey was a superb hostess. The property is brilliantly located for the town amenities and tourist attractions. Plus we were able to park in the adjacent street. And during our visit the room and street was lovely and quiet.

Great place to stay opposite the castle. Lots to explore in the local area and plenty of dining options. The rooms are on the top floor but we found the stairs to not be too steep. The room is a good size with a handy en-suite. Helpful host as well.
