"A lovely hotel with nice decor. Ozuwa (apologies if I spelt her name wrong) was very very kind, welcoming and helpful in our check in process. She was amazing. Fantastic extras include a welcome drink, and the option of Ramen or ice cream between 8 and 10 PM. A memorable addition to the hotel stay!"

"A charming hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and a perfect location — just two blocks from the castle and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and charming little shops. The only downside is that the breakfast doesn’t offer many Western options, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay!"

What impressed me most was the incredibly welcoming staff, who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made all the difference.The experience felt authentic and thoughtfully curated, with so many small details carefully considered to make guests feel special. From the atmosphere to the little touches throughout my stay, everything contributed to a unique and memorable experience. "The Celecton is a nice, standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are small, but they are practical, very clean and amenities are good. If you want a hotel that is close to the Castle then this is a good one, but it is 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, and the other attractions in Matsumoto. My room was facing the Castle but directly above a busy road, so it was quite noisy."
