"It was difficult to communicate with the owner or manager. I booked a 5 nights stay. I had a problem with the washer was approved. The cleaning staff couldn't make it work. We noticed the manager about the problem. They answered me on 4 days later. It was to late by then. We reused our old clothes and packed the rest of the dirty clothes home."

Limited personal hours at front desk. Do not show up early as no one there until 4pm to check you in. Only about a 10-12 minute walk to universal which is what makes it great"

As a result, I spent 3 hours of my time on the hallway floor in the property from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm at night dealing with Expedia customer support and finding and then navigating to a different property. The host attempted to remedy by providing a different room, 5 hours after check in time had passed. The host should communicate with guests ahead of time and coordinate listings...

"Easy check in process. Property is close to Shin Osaka train station. Generally a nice place to stay. But a few issues in regards to the maintenance of the property. I’ve stay at Minn Shin Osaka previously in 2019 and the property was much newer at the time. This time there are scuff marks in the wall, the shower/laundry room has a strong wet mildew smell, under the bed was a lot of dust balls and dirt, scrape marks on the floorboards throughout the room. "Really spacious, generous sized rooms, quick easy virtual check in process, you just can't get any luggage sent to or from here (using takkyubin/Yamato) as there's no reception onsite to assist. Really close to train station and Universal Studios. "The entrance of the hotel took a second glance to find as it's a single door that when you look into, looks like garage. We had to walk inside, and then towards the back was the elevator to take us to the room. Instructions provided was quite clear so there were no issues with our room entry. Regarding the room, it was average, and is definitely more glorified in the stock pictures. My only complaint was the couch being lumpy to the point where you can feel the spring in the cushions. "Location can’t be beat being linked to Osaka main station and Shin Osaka station. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping centres within walking distance. Hotel room clean and compact but stocked with necessities. Staff interaction was positive. Luggage handling service available if you wish to transport luggage ahead of visit. Coin laundry service great, with the ability to check available machines via the in room tv. Would definately recommend. Hope to return someday. "
