"You couldn’t get a better place to be in the centre of Arundel! The team were amazing even when a band I work with (Trinity) wanted to play an impromptu set for all the folks! They were so great in all their service and helping us! Brilliant room and great breakfast! Thank you!"

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late."

"Lovely large sized family room. Completely clean & good quality linen. Really quiet, despite road location. Copious tea & coffee supplies too, no rushing to get another tea bag if it split with the silly string thing. Double bed was soft but supportive, the pillows the same. The extra single was an actual bed & not a roll away/sofa bed which removed any moaning from the mini one. Moaning also reduced with having an actual bath, not just a shower. Small wins which made our stay really pleasant. Plus the staff were really welcoming, polite, kind & helpful. Everyone won, would stay again."

"A lovely stay. Very nice superior room with great views and exposed beams, Excellent staff, polite, cheerful and attentive and superb food, compliments to the chef . A few minor problems with the room ie surfaces and appliances dusty, broken blind, torn lampshade etc, could do with a small fridge to keep milk and water cool, also a little suprised that there was no door on the bathroom/toilet area, open to the bedroom. Needless to say it didn’t detract from a most enjoyable stay."

"Was a self check-in and check-out process. Has only just re-opened and they are clearly getting up to speed. Was a tuesday night and no restaurant open, but plenty of options in Arundel. Bed comfy and decent amenities."

"Excellent stay - friendly staff all members I met including the ladies who do the cleaning are polite and helpful…clean rooms always freshen up when your out for the day, only negative would be breakfast didn’t have fresh fruit option and toast was pretty basic not much choice"

"We were a group of 9, family and friends, who gathered from the U.S. to enjoy the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This property could not have been more perfect! The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable, the kitchens are well equipped and the common areas were comfortable, well designed and welcomed easy gatherings. The courtyard is beautiful and made us feel like we were in Provence! The views of the sunset and South Downs from the front are amazing. Our hosts connected us with Chef Elia who prepared two fantastic dinners onsite, making the overall experience just that much better. We would highly recommend."
