A great little bunkhouse

A great room for 6 people. Clean. Good shower and toilets. Great location next to mountains and pubs.

Pleasantly surprised about how organised it is and clean too. I am not sure if it is value for money though.

Lovely views

This bunk house is ideally situated for walkers, its basic but has what you need. The hotel near by the food is amazing, staff lovely and dog friendly

Bed,Shower,amazing views!

This was perfect for a base to explore. Very clean and comfortable. A bed and somewhere to shower. A kettle for a quick cuppa and then you are good to go!

Ideally located, but never been to bunk houses before with such minimal drying facilities- no idea how you would use this place in a typical wet winter- 1 radiator nowhere near hooks and then the radiator was on on for a few hours- given the wet weather that was a problem Other than that pretty good

Small, clean rooms. Clean bathroom. Note that there is no WiFi and no phone reception but the nearby pubs have WiFi. Beautiful surroundings.

Shelter from the storm

We booked last minute when the rain started coming down so happy to have a dry comfortable night! Rooms are quite tight but they’re designed for sleep rather than spending time in during the day!

Great Bunkhouse Hostel type accommodation :

Very well located in Great Langdale. Warm place. Very small room, but that was ok & acceptable. Great 2 head showers. Very, very Covid compliant. Especially liked the hand sanitiser OUTSIDE before you use the door key pad. Improvements: Needs separate recycling box(s) and not just 1 rubbish bin. Discussing the booking was hard as I didn't get reply to answerphone messages until several days later. overall Excellent, and thx 4 discount for long term stay.
