Very nice place highly recommend. Great breakfast .
The hotel and staff were excellent from the minute you entered. Beautiful bedrooms and the views stunning. Also enjoyed the evening meal and afternoon tea. Would really recommend it. 😊
Excellent all around . The interior design was immaculate and very impressive . The food , the staff , the ambiance, the atmosphere with the bar integrated within the lounge was a focal point . Beautiful arrangement and so relaxed . The room and the furniture was perfect . Fantastic break away and faultless . Thank you
I visited this property about 5 years ago and since then it has gone through a beautiful renovation....our room had a stunning view of the lake, the room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had cooked breakfast which was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
This was a fantastic hotel. The room was lovely with a small balcony and lovely comfy double bed. The only thing i would say is paying an additional fee for spa access in a spa hotel isn’t the best although it was only £20 I think the access to the spa should be included.
Great experience here. Facilities are great, spa fantastic, views even better, breakfast and other food options are just right. Rooms were and other interiors are clean and very well presented. Parking is by the door and easy accessed.
If I’m being really picky (didn’t impact stay) - clearly making improvements so the outside had a lot of building equipment around made outside look a little scruffy and the spa area needed a bit of a tidy during the day as a bit of glassware left lying around.
Overall, a great hotel and brilliant to stay.
Great hotel, room with a view of the lake was lovely. Spa was fab though additional payment if £20 person we thought was extreme and not included in the cost of the stay although didn’t deter us using the facilities. work is being carried out at the hotel so there’s lots of work traffic etc in and around the hotel but again this didn’t affect our stay. Food was lovely, and the service was outstanding
Room was very clean and decent size. Toilet felt like it was new thats how clean it was. View was amazing from the room!! got a view of the whole lake. Parking outside was a bit tricky as it was next to a road where people drive fairly fast on. Interior was lovely the reception and outdoor patio is good size and felt relaxing. fairly quiet apart from one night with loud guests. didnt go spa but feel it should be included as part of hotel, given we already paid a lot for the hotel. fairly expensive when booking last minute. very close to other towns in lake district otherwise, easy to get to them by car.
My favourite hotel. The views are spectacular. The rooms are perfectly set up. Clean, huge bed, everything you could possibly need. I cant commend the staff enough, so welcoming and helpful. Thank you, we'll visit this place again without doubt.
Rooms furnished to a high standard. Hotel extreemly clean. Breakfast was beautiful. Spa was amazing, as was the view. Staff very friendly and approacbale. Amazing stay.
Staff were great room was adequate. There was work going on but didn’t bother us. Bathroom was tiny. Wouldn’t be any good for someone 15 stone or bigger. They wouldn’t be able to sit down in toilet. And the spa. Should be included in the price we went to use it to be told £20 each per person per day. I understand extras for massages etc but general swimming pool sauna jacuzzi should be included. Even if that means pay more per room. Bar area was nice. We were told on website they don’t do meals only to find out last night there that they did. There you go.
Perfect, bathroom a little plainer tyen the rest of the room, bath/shower didnt drain so you ended up paddling

The room was in some what of a good condition apart from the pervious persons rubbish under the bed and the cobwebs above the bed limited heating with no control of it found ourselves rather cold throughout our time in the room.
