COVID-19 may have changed the way we travel, but it hasn't deterred our passion for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to cope with travel's new challenges:

• Find out what rules and restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so make sure you check before you book.
• Wear a face mask even during airport screening. A TSA employee will require you to temporarily lower your mask for ID purposes.
• Rather than handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it straight on the scanner yourself. Once that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on luggage. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to take it out of your bag for X-ray screening.
• Remove personal items from your pockets, such as your small change and phone, and place them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA officer will need to open and touch your bag for inspection.
