It is an expensive hotel for the condition of the hotel and room size. It was a bit noisy on Friday night. The front desk staff was helpful.

The location is perfect. The room and view of the canal can’t be beat. Dining and pubs are very close and an easy walk. The area felt safe and secure.

This was a great hotel close to some lovely restaurants and bars. Tram point very close. Rooms were a good size with great facilities. Very quiet and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff. The rooms were nice although lacked the old world charm of the restaurant or bar. Breakfast buffet was of high quality.

I found the staff in the restaurant to be incredibly rude. Upon checking in there was zero care for how they could help you during your stay. To place our bags on hold while our room was getting ready seemed to be an inconvenience. As a guest I felt like an “inconvenience” with the staff, but the bed was comfortable and the view was nice. Large price tags aren’t always worth it.

Essentially in the midst of it all in city center. Easy walking distance to any and all attractions. Clean acomodations, friendly staff, charming decore. Highly recommended.

Quite disappointing experience considering this is a 4.5 star hotel. Our bathroom smells like public bathroom with urine scent. View from balcony is nice but you can hear trains and people parting all night. We did not get slippers or robes in our room. And when we asked the front desk they did not have the slippers with them and had to go to the storage to get it. They are helpful of course but just always seemed so busy. Maybe it is short staffed here. It wasn’t a pleasant stay and we decided to leave early and not staying for the last night. The front desk didn’t even ask how was our stay, was everything ok, or why were we leaving the night before check out. I do like the smart TV and the speaker in the room. The hotel bar looks nice but we didn’t get a chance to try. The hotel has a lot of potentials, but unfortunately didn’t work out for us at all.

Great stay!! Wish I could have adjusted the temperature in the room and wish there was a place to get drinks and snacks after the bar closed. But it’s a wonderful hotel in a great location.

Had a lovely stay in a balcony room, it was perfect for all our needs and will definitely be back to stay again. Was a lovely english lady worked there we didnt catch her name just she had a nice chat with us every morning at the lobby which made our stay even more welcoming.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! It was very conveniently located and central to most of the city. The accommodations were beautiful and very clean. The food and drinks at the restaurant were fabulous. Amazing and accommodating staff! I would stay here again!

Favorite location in Amsterdam. 2nd floor corner suite with balcony on leidesplein is the best room in the city. Staff is magnificent. Have stayed here for decades and it is always a great experience. Walk to the great museums, casino, Hard Rock....great location. American Cafe and bar are a must any time you visit the city. Room service is always fast and terrific.

The property was nice.. though stains in my hotel room floor mad it less so. The room was cleaned but rubbish not taken away. The balcony was marred by cigarette ends and burn marks.

Hotel was in a touristy area (casino, etc) & walked at least 15 or so min to get to interesting/historic areas & fun side streets. We had option to upgrade to jr ste which we did but wouldn’t do again. Extra space was only dedicated to a tub & not usable space in the room.
