Didn’t like the fact that although our flight was cancelled just giving us two hours notice meaning we missed one nights stay in only 3 booked and they refused to compensate us as they need 48 hrs notice!!!!!

Great hotel

Great hotel, comfortable and friendly staff. A little noisy with the tram and dark in the desk area as not enough lighting for work. Good location for my needs (being near a friend’s house).

My mom and I came to stay for five nights - even though the hotel isn't right in the center of the city, we loved the access to Vondelpark and thought the transport links worked well. There weren't many frills but everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was mostly helpful especially with luggage storage! Would stay again when visiting Amsterdam.

This hotel was in a perfect location, close to two tram stops and near restaurants/shops. The room was pretty small/compact but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend this spot.

The hotel was in a great location with lots of tram links to get to the centre. There are lots of quant restaurants and eateries near that serve lovely food and are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel shop is open all night which is useful. Staff are friendly and the room and bathroom were very clean. Over all it was lovely and we had a great stay.

It has been a wonderful stay in this hotel. Very practical, with a parking, near public transport. We had a room with a view on a canal, that was very nice and confortable, but a bit noisy because of the tram. The hotel is very clean, like new, the breakfast is fresh and homemade. The employees were very friendly. I highly recommend.

We had such a great stay at this small eco-friendly, people-friendly hotel. It is clean and comfortable-not fancy but very friendly and fun. The hotel is located at the southwest entrance to the Vondelpark which makes walking or biking to the old city and Rijksmuseum so easy and pleasant. There are also 2 tram stops a short walk from the hotel. Plenty of places nearby to eat or stop in and have a drink. We were very happy with our choice of hotels and will stay at The Tire Station again when we come back to Amsterdam.
