A place to sleep and shower
This place has a good location. It’s a place to shower and sleep. Nothing fancy. The staff are very nice.

I like the property since it is in the center of the red light district area of Amsterdam. The place is in front of a canal and next door neighbors are the famous red light district businesses. It is in the center of dining/shopping/entertainment in Amsterdam. The price I paid was very reasonable. Staff are very helpful, polite, and super friendly. They do the extra effort of making your comfortable .The place is also minutes away from places of interest in Amsterdam. I will definitely recommend this place not just to family and friends, but also to those who are plot visit Amsterdam.

Dear Franklin, thank you for your feedback. Our rooms have no air co, your are right, Amsterdam is not a very warm city except for a few weeks per year, so we have never felt the need to add it in our rooms. Maybe we will consider it in the future. Best regards.

I didn't like that. It was right by the red light district but it was also near the town square which I did like . Room was clean and the staff helpful. I would recommend the property.

I found the hotel was expensive for what we got. The condition of the room wasn't great, hole in the ceiling and the door didn't feel secure. However it was very clean and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Right in the middle of the red light district. Tricky to find from the Amsterdam Centraal station so will suggest you pay attention to or, better still, write down address to ask or show the local people if your gps drops.

Located in the heart of Amsterdam city centre, close to many places. the bunk bed is really uncomfortable for these who have to be on the top because you're not able to claim on since there is no any steps to claim on, also the floor could be more clean then just a little swipe. In addition I don't know if in all other dorms is the same thing but in mine when it was raining you could hear the rain taping on the roof and making a lot of noises. overall is a nice place but could be better if was more clean.

Not good. Our room was very dark and creepy...we were afraid there were going to be bed bugs. WAY overpriced for the quality. Location decent, but I do not recommend at all.

Good stay at Amsterdam
I stayed for 3 night. It is a good experience. It is in red light district. 3 min walk from the red light secret museum. Location is good. About 20 min walk from the central station. The room is basic and large enough for putting 1 large suitcase for each person. The bathroom is reasonably big. No escalator. But it is common for the hotel in that area of similar price. the staircase is sufficient for moving large suitcase up and down.

Rebi & Natalie went out of their way to be super-helpful & accomodating, I couldn’t have asked for better service:). Facilities are kept surprisingly clean & the backyard area is a nice touch. unfortunately there’s a chance that I have brought some “hitchhikers” home with me so it could be a good idea no matter where you stay to ask for clean sheets every couple of days

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff behind the desk were always polite. Stayed in a 12 bed dorm and the noise wasn’t too bad. There were 2 toilets and showers in the room and I never had to wait to use them. Locker was excellent, held my small backpack and all my things. A couple of things to watch out for, the stairs leading up to the room are very steep and there are no barriers to keep you in the top bunks. Also this hostel is located right in middle of the Red Light District so it might not be to everybody’s taste. The common area is quite small and there were never a lot of people hanging around here. I didn’t try the breakfast. Overall I had a good time here and would recommend it.

The staff were lovely! Great location!!! Right at the end of the red light district and if you their for the real red light, weed Amsterdam vibe than great. But other than that it was definitely the worst hostel I’ve stayed at, top 3 at least. The stairs are a deathtrap. But I also seamed to notice a pattern of that throughout Amsterdam. It got amusing after a while. No A/C unit so I was sweating all night. Just one lonesome fan that wouldn’t spin so it wouldn’t reach the whole room. The bathroom!!! Oh lord the bathroom!! It was not cleaned!! It smelled of urine!!! It was terrible. I saw people “cleaning” it, but it was just wiped with a wet towel and that’s it. That’s not what I call cleaning. No cleaning agent used to wipe off the grime or acidents. Between the unclean bathroom and the heat it made the whole room smell of urine!!! All in all would not stay again!! And would never recommend anyone else to either!!

For a budget hostel I was very pleased. The rooms were cleaned regularly the staff were friendly and security was good. And the location was perfect. A ten to 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central and your surrounded by the life the lights and the coffee shops of Dam

This place is fine if you just need a clean, cheap bed. The staircases are extremely gnarly, though, and the hostel has little to no vibe of any kind, if that's what you're after. Really just a place to sleep and no more.

I ended up having bed bug bites all over me after leaving. Bites don’t show up until about 24-48 hours later so I didn’t know until it was too late. The bathroom had no ventilation so there was black mold in between the tiles and growing up the wall.
