Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, walkable from the train station & downtown areas. Very comfortable bed & roomy hot shower with good water pressure. Only very minor suggestion is to lighten up the wall colors, which were overly dark. Would definitely stay here again

Hotel Mai is wonderfully situated a short walking distance from the central train station and the cruise port along one of the canals. There are lots of dining options within a five minute walk. It is the perfect base when visiting Amsterdam.

The room was stylish and spacious, and the bathroom was lovely. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly, while others were less so! I made a special request for bath robes, which were provided. The location is convenient for access on foot to the train station and to Dam Square.

Great atmosphere, cozy rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Very good location! The room (4th floor riverside) was quiet, just minimal sounds from the streets. Air conditioning works. Breakfast was good as well!
