Great view to watch the world from, breakfast was included and was cereal, meat cheese bread tea coffee etc, all youciulc need on the doorstep you would struggle to find s better location at such a great price
The shared bathroom lacked a toilet seat, and the bathroom down the hall was out of order. Guests are forced to walk through a disgusting trash storage area to access rooms. The TV got one channel, an Arabic broadcast.
SAD!

Unsafe hotel, items went missing from my room, staff are unhelpful and very very rude, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Ideal Location
Fantastic location, adequate breakfast and friendly staff. However, the room was very small for a double and although clean was very old and tired. Renovations were taking place in the corridors so there was a lot of building materials just left around.

Great location, better than hostel but expensive.
Great location very close to central station on main busy tourist street. small upstairs hotel above macca's. stairs to room difficult to navigate with bag but not uncommon in Amsterdam. renovations taking place a bit messy with that -but didnt effect us. 1 small shower and 1 small toilet to share with many rooms on our floor-sometimes awkward. bed not so great, nearly always tending to fall out of bed as very soft edge. Basic breakfast-just ok. check in good. have to leave key at reception when going out.
The woman at the front desk was so rude. I asked if I could leave my bag until check in time and she said yes and to just leave it on a table in the public dining area. She wouldn’t put it behind the desk. I might as well have left it outside the front door with a sign that said “take me” on it. She said if I don’t like it then I could “go somewhere else”. An “I’m sorry but that’s the only place I have” would have been a little nicer customer service. Anything that closely resembled a smile might have helped too. She was just cold and nasty. The room was fine for someone who doesn’t actually need to sleep. I could hear everything outside of the room. The floors were loud so whenever anyone walked by the room it woke me up. Doors were slamming closed all night long. If the woman at check in was in any way nice, I would have been able to look past everything else.
Small room with no A/C - toilet & bathroom comunial

A Positive for Hotel Neutraal
Overall it was a pleasant stay. The reception area seems a little old, but overall it is clean. The room I was very nice and comfortable for the price. The shared bathroom was also clean and not a problem for a single guy.
The best part about the place is its central location. Very close (walking distance) to the train station and tram lines. It's also pretty close to everything you can need during your stay in Amsterdam.
No phone in the room to call the reception ,No weake up call system,No TV Remort Control in the Room ,No Drinking Glass in the room,No Glasses on the sink to put your tooth paste & tooth brush ,No Soaps , No Hand & Dusch gel, No slipers in the Room,Very old dirty Floor carpet in the Room and in the eintire hotel ,walls are painted very simple without any anti Bactria,No cloth Wardrobe,No table napkins ,same Breakfast every day, very simple one Star Not 3 Stars Hotel....!!
Hotel is in the city center so that very convenient to go everywhere in Amsterdam. Home make breakfast is great for traveller. If we could get someone help us to lift up and down our luggages on those stairs when we check-in/check-out then we would be very happy.
Hotel was falling apart. it was filthy and full of random people. we had to lock the door just to go to the toilet. I don't feel threatened easily but this hotel was like something from a horror movie. The coffee in the Moring was ok, but didn't eat anything because the cat was all over the tables and reception. Faulty towers has nothing on this hotel.
The hotel is very run down. But was clean and in an excellent location. Checking in staff weren't the friendliest but the staff in the morning were lovely. Next time, I will probably save money and stay in a hostel instead.

No lift, so expect to climb stairs Place has seen its better days it's more like a single room hostel
