Had a great 3-night stay at If Boutique Hotel. The elevator was convenient. The AC worked well and the property was clean. Wish there were more storage spaces in the room and a shelf to place toiletries in the bathroom, but those were not big deal for us. It's an easy and convenient walk to Albert Cuyp Market and just a 2 minute walk to a small grocery store for necessities. Would stay again!

Staff is very friendly. Clean room and very nice set up. The fact its keyless is wonderful addition. That coffee maker in lounge is so good and fast. The outdoors patio was also cleaned and very relaxed environment. I would stay again for sure.

It was not a 4 star place. The product dispensers kept falling off the wall. The ac didn’t work the WiFi was very spotty. Over just not that great it’s more like a 2 or 3 star place

Love the free coffee machine and lobby/outdoor area. It was prime! Our Bathroom can use a little more cleaning. I was surprised by how far this property is to the city centre as I searched for ‘city centre’ hotels. You can take the tram though which takes 8-10mins to the centre. However this property is near museums which will be good to people looking to do those kind of activities. Lastly we didn’t mind the mobile key to enter as we can navigate tech comfortably but i can see this being challenging to some tourists especially if you don’t have easy access to wifi.

Had a great two night stay at this beautiful hotel. The mobile key system is a bit tricky to work out at first - you must always make sure you have charge on your phone to be able to get in and out of the hotel at all times. Other than that it was a great stay.

Perfect. Chilled vibe!

I absolutely loved If Boutique Hotel, my friend and I booked a double room each and they were both clean, comfortable and stylish. The facilities included a lovely little lounge where coffee was freely available along with everything you might need to make your own breakfast etc...this added a perfect chilled and relaxed vibe to our stay! The host was very helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay again...already in discussions with my dsughters!!

Really easy to access the rooms and simplified check in process with very decent rooms. One thing that wasn't too good was that our bathroom door did not close fully. Also you can easily hear other guests when they entering/leaving the hotel

Short get away

Arrived about 2:30 and got in via a key sent to my email. Had a room on the bottom floor. Room was clean and comfortable but smaller. WiFi worked. Great coffee machine! Tv we could not get to work. Also we got up early and wanted to leave our bags but realized that’s only between 10-3 and we’d already be out and about so we just left and stored bags near the train station.

Location is perfect! New everything. Cool glassed in patio. and out door gardens. Really good free Hot Chocolate and coffee. Caring owner on the property... made things right when the internet went down due to the provider. I very much appreciated the efforts... including a WhatsApp of several very good restaurants for dinners.

Very nice stay in a quiet location, Tram 4 closeby

I had room 515, very quiet on the top floor. It can be made totally dark and had AC. Reception is only open from 9-16 h but everything worked fine with the mobile key that I got via SMS. The only thing was that the shower does not have a lot of water coming out - the rain dance is rather a rain drop. For men maybe okay, but to wash long hair was a bit difficult

Pillow were the worst I have ever encountered!

Hotel has opened before they were finished renovations. Shower did not drain, shampoo dispenser fell off the wall, coffee machine in lobby was out of order, worker had to crawl out my window to fix leaks on the roof, doors slam every time someone goes in or out, folks drank till 4 in the am in the lobby and we all got to hear them. They opened to cash in on the formula one crowd, the house keeping staff were the only redeeming feature of this hotel and at $500 a night for two of my nights there are better options around.

Bait and switch

Bait and switch. Beware the room you think you are booking might be the one you will get. The room I got didn’t look anything like the room that was on my booking, It was super cramped I could barely get my luggage into the main area. It was on the street level, right by the entrance, stairs, elevator and vendor machines right outside room door. So if you have the misfortune of getting a room in this area prepare to have absolutely no sleep. Also I couldn’t open the blackout blinds to let any light in or get air because there is no privacy curtain. So you can see right into the room from street level and hear everyone talking as they walk by. I spoke to the front desk about these issues and requested to be refunded for the remaining night due to the discomfort and they said sorry not refundable. Worst part of all is they have a keyless entry system that requires your phone. Phone dies or have an issue with the keyless link you are out of luck. In fact, I did have an issue and the link to the door wouldn’t load for me when I arrived back to the hotel at around 11pm on my first night. Thankfully a fellow guest came along and let me in the building. This is a security issue and as a solo female traveler I didn’t feel comfortable with this and left after one night. I messaged the hotel to let them know my issues and that I was leaving and they didn’t even bother to respond. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!
