Great place to stay in beautiful Annecy

Very friendly staff and close to several amenities and the old city. The breakfast was very good. Just maybe include a kettle in the room for people who enjoy several cups of tea at night.

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonably priced and was tasty, and the hotel was easy enough to find. Parking was quite difficult to find, but there is a paid parking garage not too far away. Plenty of food options nearby and easily walkable to old town and the lake.

Good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Within 15 minutes walking distance from the old town with all the restaurants and shops. Unfortunately came in on a very hot time of the year and the air condition in the room wasn’t working well. They just apologized, but couldn’t really do anything about it. My one night stay was not very pleasant for that one reason in particular. I found the breakfast to be quite plentiful with a lot of options.

The room was clean, staff were really helpful and polite. Food and drink prices were not too bad. Air conditioning was an issue, the hotel says it is air-conditioned,which is one of the main reasons I booked it, however what they do not say is that it does not get switched on till mid May. Unfortunately this led to 3 nights of bad sleep as it was hot.

Great hotel, horrible beds

The hotel was nice, clean, and in a decent location! Just a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town and Le Lac (the lake). The staff was always friendly and helpful. My only complaint were the beds and pillows. My partner and I both did not sleep well the entire stay due to how uncomfortable the bed was. We both experienced back and hip pain during our stay. The lack of sleep hindered our trip as we did not get up as early as we liked due to being tired. We don’t mind a firm bed, but this was another level. I have stayed at many Marriotts and have never experienced this level of discomfort. I recommend this hotel if you are young and/or can sleep anywhere. Otherwise, I would find a place with comfier beds.

The staff are nice. The room is clean. The hotel is located close to the bus stop which is good for a customer with big luggages. However, it’s quite a walk to go to the center. At night, I don’t feel comfortable walking alone to/from center. It’s maybe just me.

Comfortable and clean beds, needs more work

The hotel lobby and exterior is under construction. It was close to the train station, quick walk but not so nice area. It was about a 10+ minute walk to old town. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Liked the large bathroom/lobby area but terrible lighting for getting ready. Weird gigantic tv between sofa area and bed so you couldn’t see tv unless on the couch. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
