Great service and comfy stay

Close to beach, and main tourist location. The room,bed and bathroom was amazing. Service was really good. For people trying to park the car: Advisable to contact the reception beforehand. There is a gate that allows taxi and resident's cars. So you have rights to enter the gate based on my understanding. Again advisable to contact reception beforehand.

Kaleici city break at the Ozkavak hotel

What a gem of a hotel in the old town. Check in was great and the manager Han spent time with us showing us around the hotel before taking us to our rooms. We had room 201 with a huge jacuzzi tub and quirky bathroom ceiling. Very central in the old town and easy to walk around the streets to other bars/restaurants. Takes about 10 mins to walk to harbour downhill (streets can be steep walking back up through the bazaars). All the staff at the Ozkavak are lovely and can't do enough for you. Osman looked after us at the outdoor bar/restaurant every night and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Towels for the pool area are available if you ask for them. Han booked our trips for us - we did the Turkish maldives boat trip, the waterfalls and city tour and he also booked us a turkish bath/massage at the Hanam. He even walked us there and introduced us together with showing us where the meeting place at Mcdonalds was for the morning pickups. Another special thanks to Han who suggested taking us to a local place for food on our last night. To our surprise we went to the Moon at Lara for delicious pizza and a night of amazing entertainment. We loved it. Han also helped on the morning we left and rang us a taxi back to the airport. For a short 4 night break we packed so much in and wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Highly recommended

The hotel is situated in a great area within walking distance of hadrians gate, the old bazaar and the harbour. There are also plenty of restaurants to at nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful, they went out their way to make the stay 5*. We didn't have an adapter for our phone charger when we arrived at 3am and we asked the staff who didn't have one available, but when we about to go and buy one at 10am they had one ready for us at the desk. The hotel itself is cleaned daily and new towels given everyday. The pool was always clean and a decent size. The food at the hotel restaurant was also nice and priced well. The family room we stayed in was much bigger than expected. It was split into 2 separate rooms with a bathroom each, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable and hot water in the shower with good pressure. We had an amazing stay, thank you to everyone and we'll definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Family-run hotel in a renovated ottoman villa with a lovely garden. Very quiet street in the middle of the old town. I was upgraded to a huge room with a view to orange trees. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately no house keeping during the 4 days I stayed there. Eventually I emptied the trash bin myself because of the smell. There was a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee bags! Yavus was very friendly. Besides him, the staff wasn’t too friendly and I didn’t feel welcomed. However, I will stay again.

The staff was perfect, Cleaning was not daily as written in the advertisement..they did not clean for two days and towels were not changed daily. One day we had to wait in the sun after five o'clock in the afternoon until the room was cleaned, and this is not a good sign

Fantastic location. We had a large family unit with 2 interconnecting rooms with 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms definitely needs maintenance. The best part for us was the friendly manager Han- he was so helpful, knowledgeable and looked after us. He took our feedback well and sorted some maintenance/issues we had. Pool was nice and clean even though we didn't use it. For breakfast, we liked their omelette but the rest of the items were ok. Overall we were happy with our stay and I'd recommend the place.
