"The room was excellent for all four of us. It was our first trip to Cornwall with our son and 6 year old granddaughter. Our hosts Fiona and James made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the full English breakfasts. The location was wonderful with open fields at the rear of the property and on occasion spotting a cow or two. It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend it to fellow holiday travelers."

"The room was clean with everything we needed. The beds were two twin mattress put together which kept separating leaving a gap to fall through which was very annoying and uncomfortable. "A different take on a traditional hotel. Modern and nice interior features. 1st impressions were good. Greeted on arrival. Check in was smooth and easy. Advised on how to use the lift with key card and breakfast. Offered an option to dine in and a welcome drink. Room was generally clean. We found a long hair in the shower and the bathroom generally smelt of sewage but felt it was coming from the drains. As soon as you ran some water it subsided and with the the door shut you couldn’t smell it in the rest of the room. Welcome message on the TV was a nice touch and the atmosphere of the room was good. Bed was for us way too soft. This did affect our general sleep. Breakfast was efficient and was well done. Overall we felt it was good value and would stay at the Moxy again. The surrounding area of the hotel aren’t the best but this isn’t the hotels fault. Staff were also great."
