"This house was not only beautiful, but just the perfect size for seven adults! you could tell it was well decorated and very new construction with all the details and extras within the house. Everyone has a good amount of space. The basement area was really nice if somebody wanted to watch TV the kitchen area was really large and the rooms were also very spacious. They provided so many bathrooms too for everyone! The loft was amazing. It was a private area with its own kitchenette and private shower that worked really well for one couple. You could walk down to beautiful beach to sit and enjoy the waves or where you can find Petoskey and Charlevoix stones. The name sunset views name says it all! magnificent sunset views for sure!There was a bonfire pit as well that we used. It was just a perfect place for us to hang out as a family as we were in town to see our daughter complete her first marathon. Many things were included like K cups and snacks already and drinks in the fridge left behind I assume. it was not in the main part of town so you would have to drive in for restaurants and mushroom house tours or stores for about 15 minutes maybe. The owners were very responsive with any messages. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!"

"Our family’s time at White Birch cabin was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of the lake, which provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The stunning views from the cabin, especially during sunrise, made every moment feel special.One of the highlights of our stay was the rural setting of the area. It allowed us to witness an array of wildlife, adding an extra layer of magic to our experience. We enjoyed spotting deer, turkeys, and even a fox. Inside, the cabin was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious living area was perfect for gathering as a family, and the kitchen had all the essentials for preparing meals together. We appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our experience even more enjoyable.The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a cozy fire pit on the porch. For us, it snowed which added to the beauty of the area! My son saw snow for the first time and we were able to build him a snowman. We took advantage of making memories that will last a lifetime.Overall, our stay at White Birch cabin exceeded all expectations. The owners’ attention to detail and their commitment to providing a wonderful experience made our vacation truly remarkable. We left feeling rejuvenated and already looking forward to our next."

"This home was the perfect place for us to get away with close friends for a little getaway between Christmas and New Years. The living space is cozy with a great fireplace and breath taking private view of the lake. Fit our group of 4 adults well, but could be a tight fit for a larger group. The property lends itself to privacy and the beach felt like our very own. We walked on the beach in coats and hats and could walk for miles. We even bundled up and sat around the outdoor gas fire pit! Overall, this is an excellent and very comfortable vacation rental. We would definitely consider staying again. "

"A great home for a large family. Plenty of private space for our family of 11. Each family have their own bedroom. The upstairs game room is a fun gathering place with an awesome view of Lake Michigan. Already looking forward to next year! "

"We loved the "Grandma's cottage" vibe, home-like with great window views, great deck with tables, and private outdoor space. Sinks, showers, toilets all very clean. Lots of towels and blankets, all clean. However, a spring cleaning is badly needed. I swept away many cobwebs, not currently used spider webs, empty dusty cobwebs. Very musty, probably old books, furniture, and carpet contributing to that. Grill didn't work when we arrived so tried to broil in oven; however, it is in the bottom drawer of the old gas stove and door is partly broke off and very greasey so didn't use. Gas tank for grill turned out to be empty and owner did tell us where spare tank was when we asked next day. Gas stove oven cooks extra hot. Kitchen is very well stocked. All of Grandma's cookware seems to be there still: silverware, spatulas, fry pans (probably old teflon), pots, knives, pasta cutter, crockpots, china,... Only shortage is soup/cereal bowls, 3 plastic ones available. Kitchen has a pantry closet but can't put food in it because it has poisonous bug sprays and household cleaners in it that smell strongly. There is a shelf on the wall though that works great. Also many spices available. All in all it was what we were looking for and we had a nice time. "
