"I had an excellent experience at the Mayan hotel! The team there was super friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. Plus, the food and drinks were top-notch! I can't wait to come back!"
"Overall, my stay at the resort was good. The location is fantastic—being just steps away from the beach was definitely a highlight. The food was great as well, with no complaints there.
While most of the staff were helpful, I did encounter a few who weren't as friendly or welcoming as I would have liked. That said, others made up for it with their attentiveness and professionalism.
One downside that really impacted my experience was the condition of the pool. After a few days, it became noticeably cloudy and appeared uncleaned. I overheard a staff member mention that no one had come to clean it in days, which was honestly off-putting and made me avoid the pool for the rest of the trip.
Overall, I had a good stay, but I do hope the resort takes better care in maintaining the cleanliness of shared amenities like the pool in the future.

The receptionists were very professional and always ready to help. A special thanks to Carlos, who spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to make our stay even better.
One of the highlights was the amazing coffee shop inside the hotel. They gave us a tour of how they roast the beans and explained the different tasting profiles in detail. The person who runs the coffee shop is a true expert, and we felt very lucky to learn from him—it made our mornings extra special.
I highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable, well-located hotel with top-notch service and unique touches that make it unforgettable!"

"Orchid Beach was the perfect place for our group of divers/snorkelers/hammock dwellers. It was a great blend of privacy and easy access to the touristy areas. We had Dixie Lee come in every night to fix dinner which gave us great food, relieved any stress regarding cooking ourselves or finding a restaurant and also gave us leftovers for lunch. Everyone associated with the property was helpful and any needs that came up during the stay were addressed. If we come back to the island, we would definitely book it again. "
"The Beach House felt classy yet cozy, unlike a large resort. We stayed in a ground floor suite and truly appreciated the ability to walk out our door and onto the beach in mere steps. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location was amazing. Half moon bay has a beautiful well maintained beach with plenty of food options close by."

"Five star and beyond! This property is just amazing. My extended family and I (18 of us) stayed at casa Bella and we could feel totally at home. Everything was clean, we had all that we could need in the kitchen, the rooms were big and had enough space, we had a dishwasher, a clean pool, a beautiful deck. And we had the assistance of our amazing local hosts, Trisha and Denia, that helps us, guide us, and saw that we had everything that we could need. That was the cherry on top. Definitely I’ll come back, beautiful just as the pictures show. "
