"The Garage House offers a beautiful and relaxing coastal retreat with stunning ocean views. The property is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Its peaceful setting and well-appointed amenities made our stay especially enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to planning a return visit."

"No "real" person at the front desk for check-in. The virtual attendant had a microphone that kept cutting out and it took three of us to figure out what she was saying and instructing us to do. There did not appear to be any staff on site and it did not feel safe. Extra flooring planks were left in the hallway with caution tape wrapped around them. The sheets appeared clean, but the mattress underneath was gross looking. Just an overall sense that this was not a good place to be. We did not spend the night and went to another hotel nearby that had a real person on sight and felt much safer. Don't stay here. Go someplace else."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great place! House was clean, spacious, and perfect location for my family. The booking experience, check in, and check out was easy and the management was quick to reply to any of my questions. I would highly recommend this place for your stay! We will definitely rent again when coming to visit my nephew."

"The hotel is close to the airport and the city of McKinleyville. The staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast is okay. I enjoy their freshly brewed coffee. The premade breakfast burritos and egg sausage sandwiches are satisfactory. Overall, the property is well maintained and very clean. Our flight from Tucson to Seattle was delayed by several hours. We lost our first night stay at the hotel, which had been paid in advanced. And our first day for our rental car as well. I asked for a refund but the front desk clerk told me I would have had to cancel the room the day before of our arrival, by 6pm. Had I known the plane was going to have mechanical issues the day before our departure, I would have. Haha! The same issue happened with Avis, the car rental company."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great but serious plumbing issues on this older rental. My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and the septic system failed while we were there. It took two hours for water to drain from the shower and the toilet would back up after a few flushes and take two hours to drain. No toilet plunger. When we did flush the toilet you could hear it gurgling in the shower and kitchen sink. We notified the property management company immediately and while they sent someone out to address, it was never fixed and we did not hear any follow up from them for the remaining 2 days we were there. My husband had called and left a voicemail and texted but didn't hear follow up. Ended up skipping showers as a result and not flushing the toilet every time we went to the bathroom. Bummer experience."
