The location of this hotel is perfect! It is across the street from the Royal Palace and within walking distance to Gran Via, Plaza Major, Plaza del Sol, etc. Staff was nice. Only thing was, I stood for 4 nights and the AC did not work. I brought it up to their attention twice and no one stopped by to take a look at it. They gave me instructions over the phone and it still didn't work. They also didn't have an Iron in the room.. I asked front desk for one and they said they didn't have enough and couldn't provide one for me so I had to walk around on my vacation with wrinkle clothes right out the luggage. On the 3rd day, I had to ask again and then they gave me one. Other than that, it was nice and property and room was clean and quite.

Madrid is an expensive city so factoring that in, the hotel is fine but don’t think that you are getting the same value as you would elsewhere. Its fairly close to Atocha which is why we selected it.
