"Visited Berwyn Bank for the second time last weekend as a family group of 12 (Age range 4-84). The house is perfect and had everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Impeccably clean, comfortable and warm. A wonderful getaway for a blue January! We loved the pool and hot tub. Travelled to Keswick for a walk one day and went for a wonder down the river in Cockermouth the other which was nice! Carol is a wonderful host! Thanks for having us again!"

"Lovely lodge unfortunately the oven was not working so needed to call out for help on our first evening but the man was very helpful and lined us a counter top cooker. No WiFi which I didn't realise when I booked which was a pain and the TV signal was glitchy. "

"Nice lodge on the outskirts of Cockermouth..Generally good but issues that were flagged up in the visitors book not addressed.Blinds poorly fitted so privacy compromised.Not enough lighting at night so dangerous getting to the hot tub as the sky dish is path mounted and in the way.Microwave in the fitted kitchen didnt work but a portable replacement quickly delivered.Toilet was left dirty! One of the light sockets in the bathroom was hanging out of the wall and the battery in the smoke alarm was flat.These are minor issues that should've been sorted by now but overall we were satisfied with the lodge."

"Really nice cottage with 4 double bedrooms all a good size. Bathroom and bedroom on ground floor handy if stairs are a problem for any of the guests. Kitchen, diner and lounge a bit small, the furniture was a bit past it's best. The table wobbled, a chair was broken and the fridge fittings were broken. Some of the kitchen equipment was also not great, pans etc. However it was well equipped with dish washer, microwave, toaster fridge and fan oven. Outside was a paved garden metal fenced all around. Picture of the garden shows a lovely wooden garden set we had a metal set with was rusty. The view is from the garden is onto ploughed fields and hedgerows with wind turbines and two lines of power pylons close by.Location very quiet and peaceful. Local town of Aspatria 1.5 miles has food shops, garage and a chippy (Thursday, Friday & Saturday). Allonby 4 miles away on coast has miles of sandy beach at low tide and a super local home made ice cream shop. Cockermouth is 10 miles which gives easy access the the north western lakes, Bassenthwaite, Loweswater, Buttermere, Crummock Water, Ennerdale Water and Wast Water. Solway Coast (Start of Hadrain's Wall at Bowness) 15 miles and Carlisle 18 miles."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. Antler Lodge is an excellent choice, we found everything we needed and more. We loved the theme and the little touches that made us feel at home. I would recommend to anyone.Thank you"
