Toilet light didn't work. Floor paint flaked off onto bare feet in the bedroom. No one around when arriving or leaving. Had to wander around to find the host. Building needs a tidy up and a paint. Beautiful setting.

We stayed for one night ,a Tuesday night . I have stopped off here for a drink about two years ago while touring in Wicklow so I knew the area well enough. The bar and lounge are very dated but it suits the location in a way. After reading the reviews of the bed and breakfast I decided to take a chance and stay. The staff are so down to earth and welcoming. The room number 8 had a king sized bed and a huge flat screen TV. We had a drink in the bar which was very quiet . Breakfast was top class....

It was a really welcoming, and respectful place to stay. The decor is fantastic. The cast iron handle of the bathroom in room 4 might fall off, but that didn't take away from the loveliness.

Chose this hotel as it was close to a construction site I was working on. 30 minutes from junction 16/Cherrywood at 6pm rush hour traffic. A nice 16 minutes back in the morning.
Staff were very friendly in a genuine and nice way.
Room as spotless, shower was powerful and lacked no heat.
The food in the bar (same menu as restaurant) was bloody excellent.
The only flaw that I can think of o a personal note is that breakfast only starts at 7am and I was gone before 6:30am.

Delightful stay for 2 nights. The hosts were so attentive to everything.
We had dinner there on Saturday night and would highly recommend. Fantastic food, all local and fresh.
A perfect weekend away, beautifully located and conducive to switching off and relaxing.
