Would not stay again, lots of small headaches
The Good: The bathroom doesn't get wet when you take a shower. You technically could separate the beds with sliding doors if 2 couples wanted privacy at night. The Bad: Apartment was dirty. Dust and grime throughout the apartment. Apartment appliances either didnt work(coffee maker), had UK plugs and couldn't be turned on(Iron+Toaster), or were antiquated(Stove+Water heater). Communication, it seemed there were two desks/management companies at work here. I'd message one and get a response but then it wouldn't get followed up. I sent an email a week before and called at noon on the day of my arrival to inform them the time/mode I would show up but they never got the message. Further when I had problems with the coffee maker or toaster they didnt answer promptly and when they did there was never any resolution. Price; this property was much more expensive than its competitors. You could have a much nicer apartment at half the price or less. Location is in a rough neighborhood. Not great when the taxi driver dropping you off in daylight tells you to watch out; then the hotel staff also tell you the neighborhood is dangerous.

One of the cases where we have the wrong phone number of the guest from Expedia. We had received a call from a company that it would arrive at 18:00 and they did not give me the customer's details but said they would give him ours. He never communicated.The check in was done somehow and a day later he sent to the Expedia chat, so he received all of my messages these BUT he did not reply. He sent that the coffee machine does not work and the toaster has a UK plug while we have European plugs. I asked him what was wrong with his coffee machine and if he wanted me to replace the packaging.The guy said that he doesn't mind, he'll be fine and he doesn't need anything. I told him if he changed his mind to tell me.He didn't say anything about the dirt otherwise I would have sent the cleaner immediately.The transfer that he says is complete was not with us. That's all.

Overall a good property in the center. close to everything. The host is really nice and helpful. Some improvement are required to make it a perfect place like the bed mattress which is not the best. Shower water flow which was too weak and amenities like soup which was very low in quantity. Also, its important to note that its an apartment and not an hotel which mean that they dont provide a luggage storage on the checkout day so you need to buy storage in a storage provider like Stasher. And in addition, they take a deposit for your stay which is not the case in other places in athens.

The apartment and service was simply the best. The best that I have experienced in the past years. Location is central to many things…..many within walking distance. The office personnel are so nice and willing to assist in organizing transportation to/from airport and other tours. Simply an outstanding experience all around.

This was a beautiful place to arrive in Athens. It is spacious and mostly well equipped. And it is a very helpful and responsive hostess. The rooftop area is quite magical with a view of the acropolis. However, this is not a hotel. There is no on-site service. It is still a great place to stay and very conveniently located for the major sites and transportation.

Lovely Spacious Place in an Excellent Location
We had a really lovely stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed, and the roof garden was a lovely bonus with great views of the city. The staff who work there are courteous and kind and made sure we felt comfortable upon radical. The location is perfect for visiting all the main sites and there are also great bars and restaurants nearby. Will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Athens.

Access...convenience?
Good location. Great space if you are traveling with family. Property operates like an Air BNB. There is no attendant or staff on site and you need to prearrange an exact time of arrival to gain entry. That would be fine and it can work. Email communications prior to my arrival indicated that someone would be onsite. I arrived exactly at my scheduled time based on email communications prior to my arrival, expecting to be able to leave my luggage easily prior to check in. Not the case. I had one day in Athens and really just wanted to leave my luggage and explore some of the major sites. I ended up losing a a couple of hours of my time just trying to connect with apartment managers. Hopefully my experience was a one off and not the norm for the operators of this apartment.

The property and the host of this propety were amazing. It was very central to almost all tourist attractions and restaurants via walking or metro. The apartments were spacious and very clean. I woukd recommend anyone staying in Athens to choose this place.

Memorable trip to Athens
The Heart of Athens was a perfect find during our recent trip to Greece. My husband and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and stayed a few days in Athens during part of our trip. We were so surprised at the special cupcakes decorated with the number "35" as well as the basket with wine and assorted other goodies on the table when we arrived. We also received a detailed tour of the neighborhood with recommendations on great places to eat. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well stocked. Some of the main streets could get crowded during the evening so it was nice to be off the main area in a much quieter place. One night we even went to the rooftop area with a view of the Acropolis and sat and enjoyed some wine! Thanks to everyone at the Heart of Athens for making our stay special.

Fantastic Flat
This flat was amazing and I would definitly stay here again if I ever return to Athens. It was spacious and clean; the host was absolutly lovely and helpful with local recommendations; and it really is in the heart of Athens. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Beyond expectations, super-trendy urban center
Servicewas beyond expectations, super helpful and friendly. Place was great, big and with everything we needed. Area is hyper-urban with graffiti and sketchy parts, right in the trendy heart of athens, just what we were looking for, but you have to be into that type of setting, not for people who want luxury neigborhood.

We stayed here for our last night of our Greece vacation and after a long day of ferry travel, the hostess Vasiliki was just a lovely ray of sunshine. She loves the neighborhood and has a passion for making people feel welcome. Her love of Greece and made us feel like part of a community all in less than an hour she spent walking us around and pointing out places to eat and hi lights of the neighborhood. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable and perfect for us! This charming place was the perfect ending to our vacation.

The part of town this property is located in is really kind of neat! Im very traditional, and arriving there through the small streets strewn with graffiti was crazy...and then I see the building itself is decorated with graffiti! It was such a cool place, more like an apartment to live in. We were only there one night, but I could have easily stayed there much much longer and been very happy with my stay! So spacious, so well appointed, so well laid out, and everything was thought of. Loved our stay and would recommend highly!

Property was centrally located and communication with host was great! Welcome basket was a nice surprise...first for us. Definitely recommend the Heart of Athens!

The room was really good. Very clean and you were able to section off sleeping areas with sliding doors. The location is very close to bars and restaurants and the center of activities. My advice is to make sure you check in online with the hotel(they email you the link) because the staff are only there certain hours. The staff was super friendly.

The pre arrival contact was excellent. Zoey’s hospitality and attention to detail was very professional. The property is spacious, modern extremely clean, well equipped. The location is central. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic & Excellent Hotel / Apartment To Stay
Excellent Hotel / Apartment also very helpful staff to arrange all necessary things like arranging hotel pickup + taxi to ferry terminal, Very convenient location. Close to 2 metro stations and city center 10 minutes walk and also close to take the bus tours, also safe to walk at night, who ever is reading this review go ahead and book it you will not regret.

Nice and modern!
Really nice place! Bigger than expected! Would have been nice to have daily housekeeping but not a deal breaker! WiFi was the best we’ve had in Greece. Loved all the details....
