The owner was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean - and she maintained it throughout our stay. The facility is in excellent condition. Breakfast was delicious and the menu was flexible. The B&B is within easy walking distance of downtown.
The only drawback of this location is that there are very few places to eat in the immediate area. Take-away is available, as is a fair-sized SuperValu market, but there is only one sit-down restaurant nearby that is open at dinnertime.
Despite the sole drawback, I would not hesitate to book another visit to Dun Cromain B&B!
Very welcoming owners, and interesting to talk to. Knowledgeable about local history and places of interest to us . Pleased that they accepted our dog , this can be quite problematic when looking for suitable B&B accommodation in Ireland.
We enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere was great and the Irish breakfast was excellent. The town was easily within walking distance and had live music and great local eats. The river-front area was lively, and many cool locations were within 30 min driving distance. The BnB feel of the place was charming, and we met other travelers and students. Loved it!
