"I booked a room here for 2 nights for a wedding over at Brig O'Doon and felt very well looked after and "at home" here. When I arrived by car, the car park was a decent size, free to park in and was right outside the hotel. The check in and check out processes were very straightforward and simple. I had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant on my first night and the room was very spacious, clean and well designed. The hot chocolate and mini shortbread were a lovely touch! All in all, I had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it!"

There was a cute little courtyard outside with a couple of tables and chairs. The staff were friendly and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning."

"We could not be happier with our choice to stay here in Ayr. We were able to walk to local restaurants and pubs, plus the Gaiety Theatre. It was exciting to explore such a history rich area. This place was also a great hub for traveling to the Galloway Distillery, The Anchorage restaurant on the coast, Irvine, and Dunlop. The place was comfortable and had great views."

"We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs. It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access. The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests."

"By far the most imamculate and well-looked after apartment I've ever stayed in. Everything was thought of: there was tea & coffee, fresh towels, blankets, washing up liquid, soap, crockery, cooking utensils. There were instructions for everything, and plenty of tips/ideas, as well as local food menus & recommendations, in the info folder. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of sockets throughout the apartment. There were board games, books, and local guidebooks. The apartment was decorated to fit the area - plenty of Burns memorabilia! The furniture was modern and fully functional. For people driving, follow Google Maps until you pass the bus lane, then use the helpful instructions provided by David (look for the alleyway next to Pandora's). Parking was quite easy to find, its free on the street 6pm-8am weekdays, and all day Sunday, but paid and limited to 2hrs during the daytime. I genuinely can't find fault with this apartment, and when next staying in Ayr I will definitely choose this apartment! Thank you to David & family! It's clear you take pride in the apartment and you look after it well."
