"Housekeeping was slow to make the rooms, sometimes we would come from being in the city all day, say 6pm and the room was not ready. We would usually leave the room around 10 to 11am. Sometimes towels were missing and we needed to go out on the floor searching for HK to help. The Staff is friendly and very professional. The location of the property is excellent, near bars and great restaurants."

"The property is in a quiet new residential neighborhood just west of central. Initially I was a little concerned with distance to the city attractions but after 4 nights at The July, I can truthfully say the location was perfect for us. Still easily connected by a healthy walk, bike, tram/bus, free ferries or the occasional Uber, the quiet riverfront location was a great respite from central and had some very notable restaurants close by. Our 1 bedroom suite faced the river where we could watch swimmers and boaters as well as the river commerce drift by. The room was lovely, well appointed and spotless. The fitness facility outfitted with Technogym equipment was a great plus. There’s also a wellness centre with sauna and steam. The pre booking system ensured the facilities were not overcrowded. The self serve laundry facility was a great convenience. The restaurant, Vessel, served up solid meals and we took advantage of the live jazz Saturday night. The staff were friendly, informative and eager to be of help. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an upscale, relaxing, quiet yet convenient visit to Amsterdam."

"Very good central location. Because of the placement of the building structure some of the hotel layout is awkward, and some of the rooms are weirdly layed out. I've stayed here multiple times, but the last two times ended up being given the exact same room that has a steep staircase once you ENTER the room. I managed but people with mobility issues or trouble carrying luggage up and down steep stairs would have to ask for a different room."
