"This property exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning beach views and direct access just steps from the beach, pool, and restaurant.What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Alvin was an incredible host who made planning effortless by providing detailed recommendations for activities, restaurants, transportation, grocery stores, and arrival logistics before we even left home. Thanks to his recommendation, we hired Daniel as our driver, and he was fantastic—we highly recommend him!During our stay, Alvin checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect. When we experienced an unexpected family medical emergency, he responded immediately, helped coordinate transportation, and directed us to an excellent local medical facility that took wonderful care of our daughter. His genuine concern and support meant so much to our family.The on-site team was equally amazing. Cesar and the office staff were responsive, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.We can't recommend this property highly enough. If you're considering booking, don't hesitate—you won't regret it. Thank you, Alvin, Daniel, Cesar, and the entire team for making our vacation so memorable!"
Spectacular View Luxury Villa, Overlooking Ocean at Bahia Pez Vela Resort

"Gwendolyn’s place is amazing. It was immaculate and well stocked. She is eager to answer questions, friendly and readily available when needed (via the VRBO messaging). The property managers (Jacki and Caesar) are also very friendly and responsive. It is directly next to the property’s upper infinity pool, but it felt like our own private pool because we only saw people there one time in our 6 days. Gwen has beach towels for you and even a couple of beach chairs if you need them. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, a good many spices and a coffee maker (with filters). You will need to buy extra paper towels and bring laundry detergent/dryer sheets.The neighborhood has a lovely private beach with paddle boarding and snorkeling gear onsite. It is about a five minute walk from the house to the beach, but I definitely recommend driving your vehicle because the hill is very steep. There is parking for guests, but you will need to arrive early enough to grab a spot. You can also get a massage at the beach or lounge in one of the three infinity pools, while enjoying lunch from the Soluna restaurant. The location of the house is very convenient to a ton of activities. La Leona waterfall is 1.5 hours (ask for Brandon if you go and tell him the Pittmans said hi), Palo Verde riverboat cruise is less than two hours, Diamonte Wildlife Park is less than an hour. We also beach hopped a couple of days. We will definitely return to this house. Amazing in every way!"

Luxurious private villa with breathtaking views & beautiful resort amenities

"Roxi's place was a great place to relax after our adventure in the rain forest. The rental was well stocked with everything we needed. The views from the patios were wonderful. We spent most of our time at the beach and pool at the bottom of the resort. It was off season and there were no crowds which we really valued. The pool, bar and restaurant were all clean and easily accessible once we drove down the hill. The staff were courteous and helpful. The ocean was very clean and super comfortable to swim and float in. We booked 1 excursion which was 5-6 hour trip on a boat (fishing, snorkeling and lunch on the beach). The resort staff were great at helping us get this booked before we even arrived. Roxi was very helpful and responded immediately on every message we sent. I highly recommend Roxi's place and this resort.Other travelers should be aware, You will really need a car to get down to the beach. The hill is long and steep and you won't want to walk up from the beach."

"Beautiful house, 10 minute walk to beach. House sits on hill above beach with a restaurant. Incredibly clean. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. It’s hard to find if you arrive at night as it’s up a side street and no house numbers. Use Google Maps and the link in the VRBO app. Lots of fruit stands around and grocery stores. Owner told us about an incredible fresh juice roadside stand. As you are leaving Coco Beach (from the house that is a right on the Main Street), go to the top of the hill (2 miles) and within 100 meters on the right is the juice stand. It’s next to the bus stop. 6000 colones for a gallon of fresh orange juice, 1000 colones for individual juices. Money well spent. Love these types of local tips."

"Beautiful villa! Clean and beautifully decorated. It was just a few minutes walk from Ocotal beach. Stocked kitchen supplies, beach towels, and beach chairs, everything you need. Grill by pool was fun to use. Our party of 6 was very comfortable here. Father Rooster is within walking distance and made our whole trip very special. Amazing staff and delicious food. Not the best neighborhood but property was very safe. It is notable that the Coco Beach Club is not accessible as per advertised in this properties listing. This was a specific reason we chose the property and it was disappointing to be told “we don’t recommend you go there” AFTER we purchased, planned our trip, and arrived at the property.Owners family was very prompt in communicating, I had to nudge the local contact to get basics like confirmation of airport pickup, check-in instructions, and even a physical address/location of the property. Basics where I was told “you have this” and I didn’t not. Overall great property and I recommend."
