Lovely family run hotel right on the beach. Incredibly friendly. We'd booked for 2 nights,loved it so much we stayed for a third night. The village consists of slightly brutalist apartment blocks but we found lovely friendly bars with gorgeous food.

Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is small and cozy, located in a very nice area with a great atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and definitely worth recommending – freshly prepared especially for the guests.

The staff was wonderful! The breakfast highly recommend. They were very attentive and service was great. View from room was spectacular can see people surfing the waves. Very quaint hotel but decorated tastefully and room was very big.

A beautiful small family-run hotel right on the beach. Very friendly hotel owners, always quick to help with questions. Rooms are spacious and newly renovated. The breakfast is worth the stay by itself. Delicious home grown preserves and ham and wonderful local cheeses and eggs. We had a lovely stay.

Delightful Stay in Bakio

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Arimune. Although it wasn’t quite warm enough for the beach, we loved having it right at our doorstep. The room was clean & very comfortable. Unai served a delicious breakfast & provided recommendations of other towns to explore in the region. Definitely recommend a stay here for anyone visiting Bakio!

Loved my stay and wished I was staying more than 1 night. The hotel backs onto the beach which is incredible and offers some great views from the room. The room was fantastic, as spacious as I hoped for. Clean, and with a nice touch of tech.

Loved the hotel !

We had a fantastic stay, the staff at the hotel are very friendly, the brothers that own the hotel are so welcoming and want your stay to be perfect. The room was large, very well designed, beautifully finished. The breakfast was perfect, locally sourced eggs and bacon. Lovely breakfast starter, coffee was first class. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel, perfect location for the beach. Cool boutique hotel vibe !!

The room faced the ocean and the view and the sound of the surf was priceless. A storm kept all but the bravest surfers away, and we spent half our time cosied-up watching and listening to the ocean. The staff, especially the cook, was friendly and eager to please.

Fantastic stay! Great location! Amazing service!

The hotel is a beautiful property in front of the sea! We slept with the sound of the waves ... very relaxing. It was recently renovated with excellent good taste. Staff is SUPER friendly, very helpful and efficient. Rooms are large with comfortable beds and good quality linen. We paid extra for breakfast; everything freshly cooked my one of the owners Mr. Unai. Coffee, teas, snacks were available any time for the guests. Parking was easy and free. We followed the hotel recommendation for day trips and local restaurants, which were spot on. We felt at home in Arimune hotel and we will definitely plan to come back!

Sehr freundliches Personal und persönliche Betreuung auch beim Frühstück. Wunderbare Aussicht vom Bett aufs Meer und sehr sauber. Leider ziemlich hellhörig und die Türen fallen sehr laut ins Schloss. Aber würde trotzdem wieder ein paar Tage im Hotel Arimune verbringen, hat mir alles in allem gefallen.

Wat een mooie plek. Dicht aan het strand. Hele fijne kamers en een zeer relaxte sfeer. Qua service hebben we een dubbele ervaring. De man die ons incheckte was heel vriendelijk. Er was ook een dame die heel nors was. We waren wat vroeg, wat we wisten, maar toen we de koffers achter wilde laten deed ze geïrriteerd. Toen we de dag erop weg gingen en vroegen waar we de sleutel moesten laten was ze ook kortaf. Een gemiste kans! Maar verder zeker een aanrader!
