Quite a lot open even though it was winter. River and lake lovely.

Wonderful stay at Pale Hall Hotel. Beautiful and comfortable room. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent dining options - a tasting menu / fine dining or a bar menu. Clean, spacious room. Friendly check in. The continuous “drone” of something, maybe a boiler, throughout the night, making the use of ear plugs necessary, for a light sleeper, took the edge of our stay - room 1. There was no problem with the road outside or the customers from the pub.

If you want a relaxing romantic stay away with fabulous food, service and a relaxing gorgeous house and grounds you MUST visit!!
