"When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our booking. We booked on the day, but for 270 euros for a room, it was disappointing to arrive to no room and to the confusion. Jess at reception handled it very well and was very helpful. She organised a different room, an apartment, which was pretty basic and was missing the hotel room feel. She was very apologetic and offered us complimentay drinks (2). The bar staff were lovely, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to be served. "

"This hotel is in a perfect location for a weekend in Cork. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, even giving us a free upgrade and giving us recommendations for places to eat in Cork. The breakfast was just right, mainly hot and cold buffet breakfast but they did make poached eggs and avocado on toast if requested. Definitely would go back to this hotel when I'm travelling back to Cork. Thank you. "

"The hotel was clean and the food plus service at the restaurant for dinner was fantastic. The shower had no hot water and when told the front desk the staff didnt care. Our friends had a room next to ours and they also had no hot water, so it wasnt just our room. Location to the Blarney castle was great."

"Pros: Fantastic service, beautiful location, very comfy beds and pillows and excellent breakfast. Cons: For the price (266-320 euro per night) I would expect slightly more attention to detail. There were no robes in our rooms, there was a few pieces of trash left on the floor, the hair dryer was glitchy and probably should be replaced and there was no conditioner in our bathroom dispensers and no one noticed for 3 nights. "

"Room was lovely, had everything I needed, but light sleepers be warned that conversations in the hallway at midnight may keep you up, so be sure to bring earplugs. The provided shower gel/shampoo 2 in 1 left my hair rather dry, and had I known it was a 2 in 1 I would have brought my own products but I was trying to save space. Overall, kind staff, beautiful location, clean room, not much else you can ask for!"
