"The staff and breakfast were great. The room was fine, the only disappointment was no air-conditioning and the room was quite warm. We tried to open the windows, but there was no screens and the bugs were getting in. The grounds and buildings were wonderful. "

"Great location. Lovely exterior with the waterfall. Rooms were a little dated but clean! Double glazed windows blocked all street noise! Do not try to get anywhere near the hotel during rush hour. Call them ahead to figure out the parking!"

"This hotel is very well located for travelling around the Cork City, Cobh, Kinsale areas. The pool was nice and big and even though there were a good few people there, it did not feel crowded. We had a family room with a double bed and two single beds, which was perfect for us. The shower (which was separate from the bathtub) was fantastic. 5 stars for the shower alone!! And we liked the shampoo/shower gel so much, that I have purchased a bottle to use at home. Breakfast was good as well. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel to others. "
