Isaacs Hotel Cork City

Isaacs Hotel Cork City

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in one of the apartments, which would have served us better if we were staying longer than 2 nights. The apartment was modern, clean and perfectly equipped for a longer stay. Please note, there is no lift in the apartments. I made the mistake of not checking on that and we had to carry heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Also, the timer on the hot water heater needs to be activated at least 20-30 min before taking a shower. Beautiful hotel and restaurants. Great location for walking around Cork. I would stay again."

"This is a well run, very pleasant hotel with great views & location. Our only issue was with the front desk. We arrived early before 16.00 & were promised a phone call when our room was ready. At 16.20 & having watched a tour party check in early I approached the front desk & was given an excuse by an arrogant gentleman. Great shame as every other aspect was great"

Clayton Hotel Cork City

Clayton Hotel Cork City

10/10 Excellent
"The location of the hotel was excellent. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere in the day that we had to explore the city. We stayed 2 glorious nights. We had an executive king room that was enourmous. We felt like we were in the penthouse suite. Loved the soaker tub, having a mini fridge in the room, and espresso machine, double sinks in the bathroom, separate shower and toilet area. The linens were lovely. The tv for our down time at night worked fabulously and we could connect to Netflix. And the floor to ceiling windows and view were incredible. The room was showing some wear and tear but given all the features that we enjoyed, we could look past that. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delcious. The staff was helpful and friendly. Liked the easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Enjoyed the stay, very spacious and clean. Though it appears there was some renovations going on due to the room in hallways were missing, the room itself met our expectations. The restaurant and staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was beautiful and clean. The lift was not functional when we were there so we had to use the lift that the employees use which was located in a back room and was dingy. The beds were very soft for our liking but overall the hotel was beautiful."

"Rooms are comfortable, food is fine . Location is out of town so you will need either taxi or car to travel to the city. No leisure facilities or pool. Web site hides this well. There is a third party company 5 mins away but you do have to pay and book. All a little mad"
