"Lovely welcome by receptionist and complementary homemade lemonade. Beautiful hotel with fascinating history. We really enjoyed or short 2 night stay. Bathroom room could do with modernisation and the windows didn’t keep out all external noise. I would stay again but upgrade from a standard room."

"Staff the service and the hotel was excellent. We did have breakfast so I am not sure about that however their pool is also a community pool which made us not even to go and use it. When we checked it out it was packed with people. Also they close the pool very early specifically on weekends."

Isaacs Hotel Cork City

Isaacs Hotel Cork City

10/10 Excellent
"I made a last minute booking for the Isaac Hotel and had a fabulous stay - Perfect location in the main street with its own excellent restaurant and very cool bar 'Cask' which is clearly the place to be in Cork for those seeking a cool experience. Isaac is a hotel more traditional Irish which is very inviting and offers a cultural experience in every way. Highlights - super comfortable bed, quiet even though it in a busy exciting part of Cork, glass lift and waterfall court yard as you walk in,,, What set Isaac apart was the expertise and exceptional customer service of the reception staff who organised my sightseeing with attention to detail with care and warmth. Even if you don't stay here make sure you go to Cask and have the salmon crudo on crisp tortillia, Special thanks to the bar staff who made me feel so welcome as a solo female traveller all the way from Australia.. No fridge, coffee machine, high end bath products, gym but perfect to get out and walk to get whatever you want and there is a gym/pool just a few minutes up the road (btw!)"

The Dean Cork

The Dean Cork

10/10 Excellent
"I travelled to the Dean from Australia for a holiday in Ireland solo. My stay at the Dean in August 2026 for 4 nights was exceptional and the personal customer service, facilities, and cuisine with curated wine list was outstanding, From the roof top restaurant with delicious cuisine, vibey bar downtairs both open late to the stunning wellness centre with pool, spa and steam room with soothing soundtrack the Dean is so inviting and I did not wish to leave. It is so cool and so conveniently located -with regular buses travelling to the Cork airport (less than 2 euros) and access to the train next to it. A 7 minute walk to the best pubs and 10 minutes to the heart of the city and a short stroll to all the sightseeing spots. There are rooms with views towards the city and water and I didn't experience any issues with noise but there are trains operating in the mornings. Coffee pod station, Smeg fridge for whatever you want, high end bath products, and spacious designer bathrooms add to a really special experience. The Dean offered a first class holiday experience with a stunning architect designed building complete with eclectic art works and attention to your every need. I did not have any issues with noise although it can get windy. I have no hesitation in recommending The Dean and a visit to Cork - what a hidden suprise. I was able to secure a fantastic deal through Expedia, Thank you Expedia."
