My Mother, Aunt and I stayed here March 18th, 2023 and were VERY pleased with our room, very clean... Beautiful property. Staff was very helpful and friendly, a bit far from downtown Cork.... outside the hotel, nothing around to walk to for shopping/eating.

Was an average stay
Arrived early and was obliged with early check in. However got to room and it was very cold, we couldn’t close the window in the bathroom shut. After arriving back about 7pm we still had no heat in the room so rang reception and it was rectified the heat fuse was broken so we ended up in bed for an hour waiting to warm up. A nice man from reception came up and closed our window. The best morning we realised the hair dryer wasn’t working also , no water in the room for guests. Overall the beds were comfortable but might not stay again.

Room and hotel is furnished to a very high standard. Just a few niggles/service issues stopped this from being an excellent stay. TV in room was not working very well - most channels impossible to watch - response from reception when I reported this, was that it has been a problem since the building works started a few months ago. Web-site said there is a Nespresso machine in the room but this was missing (a Lavazza machine was put in the room when I complained). Service in the Bistro was a bit hit and miss - I asked for a menu to take a look at whilst we went to the bar for a drink - I was told she was too busy and can I come back in 15 mins. No table service in the glass room/bar.
