"So surprised at this place, did not expect as much as it had to offer, it was beautiful! Food was delicious, staff friendly, everything you’d expect from an Irish hotel. Breakfast was the best (apart from my sisters house) I’ve had on my whole three week trip, through various parts of the country. Pauline, my breakfast waitress was excellent, courteous, friendly and had a word for everyone she met. A treasure."

"Hard to imagine a more unique and exciting way to experience Ireland than in this amazing VRBO. The castle has an unsurpassed 360 degree views of the water and farmland. Inside, it has the modern conveniences you need while maintaining a rustic atmosphere. The stairs can be a challenge yet the views from the modern upstairs bedroom is worth the risk. Everything was clean, warm and comfortable. Good directions and easy to find on the map. Excellent Wifi throughout. Highly recommend for a once-in-a-lifetime lodging experience."

"We stayed over the Christmas period and wow. The house was decorated beautifully and on arrival i walked into a beautifully clean and more importantly, warm, home. I met with Nora and had a fantastic chat. She is a fantastic host. The house itself is beautiful and is a credit to Bridget and her family. It is very modern but keeps its old style charm. Beautiful setting and ideal for visiting West Cork. Even with the wind and rain lashing down on us we had a great time. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone and would love to go back. 5 stars all the way ...."

"I have stayed at both the cottage and main house before. Minor issue with wifi this time but that was quickly rectified. The unseasonably cold weather during the first few days of our stay made the cottage very chilly until heat was turned on but that's Irish weather. Once weather returned to seasonal norms, there was no further problem. Very comfortable for two people but would be a stretch for any more. Excellent value."
