"The apartment was perfect for our needs. We did not use the washer/dryer in the apartment but knowing that it was available was a plus. "Booked a last minute stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. No provisions or offers given to celebrate our special day, not even a 'happy anniversary' comment! Room was not clean...hair in shower area and plughole, dust on table/TV. Breakfast was a smaller selection than expected. Omlettes, eggs Benedict, etc. are normaally available in buffet breakfast but these were chargeable extras! Fried eggs in the buffet were cold. Tables were not cleared of dishes quickly which meant we had to move our used dushes to a neighbouring table. A very disappointing breakfast experience, which was charged on top of our booking....totally unacceptable. Spa area was also extremely disappointing. Only when we enquired about timing for the spa were we informed of the refurbishment taking place. Only the pool was available on a booking system. No jacuzzi, steam room or sauna. I've never been to a hotel where they book you in advance to use the pool and only for approx. 30mins use! When in the pool one wall was covered in tarpaulin for work on the other side....noisey and dusty works going on. Corners of the tarpaulin were torn to show large holes which allowed a lot of cold air towards the pool. There were no treatments available until after check out time! The only positive was the car park and the excellent service from Tino and tge team. Car park area is small but well managed. Location was good but this was an overall very disappointing experience. "

"The room was hot and we were told that hotel is ambient ac but they sent a portable cooling fan so that helped. View of Tower Bridhe from room is excellent! But the hotel is old with peeling paints on wood work and carpet looks old too. Staff is courteous and friendly. And it’s conveniently accessed via major public transportation.. But you can’t beat the price though "

"Check in was OK although member of staff left the desk twice to check something about the booking and the room without explaining why...keeping a tired customer informed is helpful...she was just checking the room was ready. Stopped four nights...second morning note pushed under door advising us to contact reception as we had not paid!!!! They had credit card details and hadn't taken the previous day...! Room was not cleaned/refreshed unless we asked...only done twice in a four night stay. Ignore the automated check out email. We completed it on the fourth day only to be told we still owed for three nights even though we had already paid in full as above. Manager confirmed all paid and this was an automated email...need to updated their automated processes. Hotel was in a good location, clean, adequate but a little dated. We would have be quite happy with everything if check in had been completed properly, the room was refreshed daily without asking, and the automated system hadn't advised us we had a balance outstanding when we'd paid in full."

"Noisy, noisy, noisy! Had to change rooms as the noise from the nearby elevator and doors closing was annoying! New room was worst than the old room as it was a foot away from a loud closing fire door! Bathrooms are a hazard! A huge slippery high bathtub dominates the bathroom! The best thing about this hotel is the location."
