Quiey place, nice staff, easy check in and out.
If you need a place to stay for a reasonable cost but you don't mind walking down to the beack or go places to visit and shop, this is the place.

Pros:
- Easy Check-in
- Good Location
Cons:
- Not too clean
Great location. Walking distance to a lot of things in Barcelona! Check in was a little confusing, but it was sorted (you have to go to the reception to get codes even though it says they don’t have a reception or front desk!)
Either owner or manager of the hotel was lovely. We got locked out of our safe with passports etc. in, and he came round from a doctors appointment to help us within an hour of texting the WhatsApp number.
Only criticism of the room itself was the noise of the fridge at night (turns on and off and makes a loud noise each time), and also the fact that our bathroom door was just a sliding mirror - so there was little privacy in terms of noise :/ . Other than that, it was good.

Up the Gas
Good enough for a night or two, great location & the staff are great.
The condition of the room is basic but comfortable, tv didn’t work & the shower door was a bit dodgy but for the money....
Property was very central so accessible to everything! Staff were very helpful and kind. I don't think my bedsheets got changed or the pillow cases.. There were some marks on both.

Reception often closed!
The hotel is in a very good position, in the room you can hear a lot of noise from the other rooms and corridor. The check in was bad, there was nobody before 10.00 to speak with the hotel employees because reception was closed however the check in guy was very nice and helpful when the reception opened. Some other employees were very rude! Also the reception was closed in the evenings and some other customers had troubles because of it.

LOCATIE EN GROOTTE KAMER WAREN GOED, BEREIKBAARHEID RECEPTIE SLECHT EN BEETJE ONBESCHOFTE CHECK-IN

The hostal is an old bulding feels dirty and smell bad, the bed is unconfortable the only good thinks are the is well located and at least it has private bathroom, but for the same money you can stay in a hotel outside downtown.
Location is good. but hard to find an entrance. No one is attending at the desk.

Nothing special about the room, the high price is because of the location (center of the city and the tourist area).
+ Brustar Gotic was very helpful with a payment problem we had.
+ nice people
+ clean enough bathroom
- the rest of the room not so clean
You should also keep in mind that you can hear the metro but it stops after 24.00. Not the hotel's problem of course, but if you have a lot of trouble sleeping, this is not for you.
Room requires renovation. For that price we've paid and quality we've got, it's overpriced I would say. Location is pretty good: not far from metro and city center. Communication with the owner is good: you can get the response pretty quickly. Bed is very uncomfortable. Unstable WiFi connection.
Rommet mitt var trangt og lite. Dårlig luft. Det var ikke ekstraseng som forespeilet. Wc var helt løst. Dusjdør kunne ikke festes. Pære i lampe virka ikke. Håndklevarmer virka ikke. Synlig rust på varmeren. Dette var ikke bra til den prisen.
Fint uteområde, rett ved park. Forholdsvis kort til havet og Down Town.
Otelin konumu iyi. Otel çok eski. Pis bir koku var. Personel yardımcı oluyor. Oda çok kötü. Düzgün bir masa yok çalışma masası var. 4 kişilik bir ıdada sadece bir sandalya var. Buzdolabı yok.
I needed a bed for two nights during tourist season, and the location was just right. I should have read the reviews, because this is *not* a hotel. This is a hostel with no service. Air-conditioning was broken, the place is a run-down conversion of what used to be a flat, access is complicated with doors locked by codes, I was greeted by an envelope despite not being late for 'check-in', and they managed to over-charge me, too. I got a bed and a quiet room, that's all.
Dirty sheets and pillowcases Shabby room dirty walls and crumbling ceiling; I was worried it would collapse on me. The shower was unreal - super duper- wow with radio light etc none of which worked!!
The shower tray had several holes in it covered up with gaffer tape. I could not get any programs on the tv nor could the receptionist, she said that she would get her colleague to look but he never turned up- also bearing in mind that there was only limited reception anyway..
If you continue offering hotels like this on your website I will consider moving elsewhere. Not impressed. I have photos on my phone if you require evidence. Most unpleasant.

Great location and nice room BUT...
Very nice staff, decent clean room but with inadequate soundproofing and it is in a run-down building with graffiti on the front door. (hotel is on the second floor).
Excellent location close to several metro stations and to the Arc de Triumph and adjoining parks.
Beautiful room in a beautiful building in a beautiful area! This is the second time we've stayed because we liked it so much the first time. They recognised this was our second booking and upgraded our room as a result. Very friendly and helpful staff! Thanks for making our stay so nice, Brustar!
