"Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!"

"Our room was lovely along with the staff as well.
The dining facilities were really great and the situation was also really good as well along with having plenty of free parking."
"We travelled for 4 weeks, 11 hotels and this was by far our favourite! Clean, comfy, spacious, and updated rooms! The breakfast was amazing! We were so close to the action on Oliver Plunkett and St. Patrick’s street. The staff were also amazing, at the front desk and the breakfast area! What a wonderful stay at a wonderful place! "
"The hotel was in an amazing location and it had a very nice outlook, especially if you could afford the riverside. The use of the pool and gym next door was nice and we did take advantage of that. The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet. Something that was a little be frustrating was that their parking has a barrier that was high enough for our vehicle which led you down a ramp that had a lower barrier. Not noticing this at first we scratched our vehicle, and then had to reverse the wrong way out of the ramp. The height on the barrier signs should match. The person I spoke to wasn't overly pleasant but did offer us a different place to park. And the woman that checked us in was really pleasant. This is why this hasn't affected the review."
"A great place to stay when arriving late to the city via Cork airport.
Friendly staff, great rooms and a fantastic breakfast (really well catered for me as a vegetarian celiac)."
