Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, furniture, and roadside parking. Within 4.6 miles, you will find a shop. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. 4 Castle Terrace is a delightful base for an escape to Durham.     The pretty village of Bowes is situated amid the unspoilt countryside of Teesdale, in County Durham. The village has a long history dating back to the Romans. Its most famous landmark is Bowes Castle, built on the site of the original Roman fort soon after the Norman Conquest.
