"Excellent breakfast. Shuttle ended before we could get a ride back from town at dinner. They said they could arrange a car to airport but upon checkin had no options for us because of strike however, I could get transport through travel apps. They should not have scared us with the initial information of no transportation but should have had options to offer. They advertised a bar/lounge but that does not exist. We had a group that wanted to have an area to socialize and only the pool area was offered which was cold at night and only lounge chairs for seating. Check in took a long time. Nice snack offered at check in. No restaurant on site but hotel could bring in food. Overall nice place but not as convenient as others might be. Views are beautiful"

"Very nice hotel in excellent location. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. Our room was nice but it was quite noisy at times as we were directly under the dining room so we heard to tables being moved for breakfast and the sounds of a loud event one night of our stay. Staff was not as warm and helpful as other places. we stayed on the Amalfi coast."

"We were initially on the floor below the restaurant and during early morning there was a lot of noise of tables being moved. But as we were staying for 8 nights, they immediately upgraded us to a deluxe room which was on the 3rd floor and very quiet. All the staff were very helpful and credit goes to Vincenzo, the restaurant manager and Benjamin at the bars. They were super friendly and knew how to look after hotel guests. Breakfast was good and they would cook omelettes on request, but it lacked grilled/boiled vegetables(which we have seen in most places). Otherwise, plenty of variety! Cakes to die for and different types of teas. Also, options for lactose free milk and a few gluten free options. The hotel is ideally located to walk to Vico Enquense station(12 mins walk, 2 stops on Bus 009) from where you can catch regular trains to Pompeii/Sorrento/Naples etc. We also tried dinner one night, but were not impressed with the flavour and quality of the vegetarian main course(starters and desserts were great)"

"Perfectly located outside of Positano in a quietly nestled town that gives you the absolute best views. this is due to the family business taking great pride. They were very responsive via Expedia message and WhatsApp and were able to help me book tours (Capri tour was very fun and well worth it), book taxis etc. the hotel is walking steps where you can catch a bus back and forth to Positano. Much less than a taxi and totally fine. The food in the hotel was great including the free breakfast( lots of baked sweet treats). They cleaned our room more than once a day and were so detailed. I had flowers and came back to them in a vase with water. They truly work to take care of every need. I would definitely recommend and come back."

"My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday in Amalfi and stayed at the Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. We had many hotel options, but we are so pleased that we chose the Anantara and the city of Amalfi for our stay. The location was a perfect launching point to visit the many areas of interest. It was close enough to all the restaurants, shops and sea in Amalfi, but also far enough away to enjoy a more private experience. The walk from the hotel down into the center of Amalfi was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful and always bent over backwards to make us happy. We must give a shoutout to the pastry chef for breakfast. We really enjoyed all the special treats."
