"Our stay was generally good and the staff was friendly, which we appreciated. However, we did run into a few issues that affected the overall experience. Late in the evening, we discovered a large wet, spongy spot on the floor caused by the fridge defrosting, and the cabinet beside it was already damaged from the water. The pool area looked decent at first glance, but despite cleaners coming in and out several times while we were there, the space wasn’t actually clean. There was visible dirt around the area and even a bandaid floating in the pool, which was disappointing. Right before checkout, we also noticed ants in the bed. For the price, we didn’t expect to encounter these kinds of cleanliness issues. I did notify the front desk about the room concerns, but not the pool, though that should be something staff would easily notice and address if they were paying attention. Overall, our stay was okay, but the cleanliness standards definitely need improvement."

"Some staff was friendly and some were not. When we checked in there was pee on the toilet seat so I called the front desk to ask them to get someone to come clean it and they sent somebody and she supposedly cleaned it and then when I went to use the bathroom, the pee was still there then I went to the front desk and he told me to go find housekeeping myself, so I went and found them and told her that there was still pee on the seat and she came to clean it because the other girl didn’t do a good job. The heat in the room didn’t work so I’m not satisfied with my stay. "

"The room was clean. The staff were nice. The shower had no pressure and the shower head is outdated and doesn’t spray well. Dirty. The tub was very dirty. There was no hand soap and no soap left in the dispensers in the washroom. You think this would be checked before a check in? To be sure the guest have what they need? "

"Shower heads definitely need an upgrade. The room temperature is hot so have to turn the air on in the winter. Besides that it was great, clean and breakfast was good."

"Although the rooms are clean and quiet, they are small and dated. Water damage was noted on the wall and lamp shade. The ceiling light fixture was missing its fixture and was just bare bulbs. Location was excellent. Parking is limited and in the back next to a bar. "
