Worth the higher price
One of the best accommodation we had during our EU trip. It's has higher price compared to other hotel but it is practically an apartment with fully functional kitchen which can be great to cut cost on dining. The location is also great.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was very good. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The hotel's location is very close to everything needed such as bars, restaurants and grocery.

People at front desk were very helpful and polite! The room was just as good as the pictures let on. They even held our bags after check out so we could explore before we left for the airport.

This hotel served its purpose. We need it one night before continuing on our River Cruise.. It had transportation by tram just up the street. Buildings an area around the hotel seemed rough. I would not stay there for an extended period.

I liked that the kitchen was well stocked with pots and dishes. Refrigerator was good size. No cleaning service and no access to brooms and mops Also need to request towels and no telephone or communication with reception unless you physically go down. Apartment well laid out and comfortable

The Adagio is quiet, and located in a perfect spot for touring all of Basel by foot and tram. My room was remarkably spacious at the price.

Nice hotel in good location
Great hotel close to the centre of Basel, and reasonably priced for when we stayed. Found the kitchen area really useful for making breakfast at home. Hotel staff were helpful and gave is a room upgrade for the first night

A welcoming vibe
Image our surprise when we arrived about an hour before the official check-in time and we were told we could check in by a very friendly clerk. The room was huge and very comfortable. I loved their dining room and lounge. Coffee or tea was always available and so was using their lounge. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Once we got the hang of the tram line, we realised how near the old town we were and hence very centrally located. Changing trams to go to the station was also easy and hassle free. Its location is really splendid once comprehended. In their dining room one reads the following on the wall: "Here we love: Customizing our apartment Tasty cooking Working over a coffee Living together" In their lounge: "Welcome to the Circle Here, we love: Communal living Having fun and playing games Working over a coffee Helping one another Showing respect for others Sharing a drink Borrowing things & returning them Taking care of where we live Stay, Live, Enjoy"

Summer time in Basel :-)
Adagio City is a great choice for a family visit of Basel. The location is perfect, easy to find/accede, with the tramways and a Coop supermarket 250 meters away. The apartment was comfy, clean, quiet and with enough space for 4 persons. Adagio's staff was present and helpful. There's also a fast Wifi, a piano in the lobby and a good laundry in the basement. An excellent stay!
