Pensions in Basque Country

The hotel was very centrally located—everything within a 15 minute walk. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. The proprietor, Jon, and staff were very helpful and friendly; good communication and recommendations. As we were here during peak heat, it was very nice to have AC in the room after long, hot days out on the beach and for local pintxos crawls. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic location, clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and recommended some great pintxo spots. We stayed here 12 years ago when it first opened and came back this year with our kids, knowing that it would be a great place to stay with them.

It’s very cozy hotel/pension with a very nicely decorated rooms. Extremely new and modern design. I can’t say that I fancy their electronic street door system but the rest is quite okay. On top super clean rooms and very friendly staff. The neighborhood looks like a small garage zone for new and old cars but looks safe. It was quite easy to find parking as well.

Superb location in the heart of San Sebastián. Look no further. Great room with a little balcony in the core of th old town but a nice quiet room. We had a great stay and would recommend Pension Bule.

The hostal was reasonably priced for the area. Though the room was on the small side, it was perfectly adequate. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The receptionist was very welcoming. She gave us a map and some advice as to interesting places to see, which was very useful. The hostal is well situated, near the Buen Pastor cathedral, about halfway between the RENFE railway station and the beach. There are some good cafes and restaurants in the area where local people eat. There...

Great location, clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again
