Excellent hotel, well situated with very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was superb, clean, large, modern, with coffee making facilities and a mini bar.

Gorgeous property with very helpful staff. Heated pool, and walking distance to city. It’s a small hotel but has everything you need. Dining is limited, but their sister hotel across the road has a restaurant and plenty of options close by.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I expected quite a standard service but it exceeded my expectations. The decor is cool, location was very handy for the beach and centre and the room itself was lovely and had its own terrace. The service was great, the staff were friendly and attentive. I didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that but if I return to Biarritz I’d definitely consider going back here.

Stayed here for a few days on our honeymoon and could not have chosen a more perfect venue. An exceptional level of service in an impeccably maintained chateau.
Rooms are huge with fabulous bathrooms. We had a lakeside view with a balcony.
Food in the restaurant was world class.
We will definitely return.

We spent 4 nights here. It is a small hotel in a perfect location for the beach, restaurants, the food market and a base to start a ramble around the centre. Room was comfortable, not very big, but had everything we needed. Shower was spacious with a large showerhead. The hotel feels more like a guesthouse. There is a small bar but the front doors close early( you have a code for the door) so we did not avail of it as it was closed when we came in. We would recommend it highly!

I stayed less than 24 hours in Biarritz, but was very glad to have had the chance to stay at the Alcyon Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The style of the hotel was very chic and tasteful.
