"The pictures do not do this property justice. They have top of the line everything and the beds were extremely comfortable. We stayed for a week with 3 adults, 2 teenagers and one preteen. We love that the house is located on the peninsula away from the main town but close enough for us the run into town if we needed to (30 mins). There is a small market just down the road that had a lot of items if you just needed one thing. A coffee shop and a few restaurants.The house itself was amazing and was right on the beach. Our boys would get up on the morning and head straight to the beach. The owner had plenty of chairs that we could use and enough other things to keep everyone happy and busy. My only complaint was that I wish I could have stayed longer! Will definitely book again. "

"We just stayed at this bayfront property in Cape San Blas and while there were definitely some highlights, the overall experience was mixed. The location is absolutely gorgeous—right on the bay with breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. We loved fishing off the dock, and the home was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate multiple families. The covered parking was a plus, and we appreciated having access to paddle boards and kayaks.However, the property itself is in need of significant maintenance. One of the refrigerators wasn’t working when we arrived, which was frustrating. The pool was dirty (with dead frogs and leaves), and it clearly needs resurfacing. The hot tub was warm, but the jets and lights didn’t work, and it looked extremely dated.The house shows a lot of wear and tear—chipped paint, broken boards on the outdoor stairwell, outdated fixtures, and multiple lights and outlets that didn’t work in the screened-in patio area. On top of that, there was a snake in the backyard that lingered throughout our stay, which scared the kids and made it hard to relax outside.Even small things like broken kitchen utensils (e.g., the pizza cutter) added up. While the setting is truly special, the house is in rough shape. For the price being charged, we expected a much higher quality experience. With some serious updates and routine maintenance, this home could be amazing—but in its current condition, it’s overpriced."

"We were a large group, 17 with 4 dogs. This was a perfect place for us! The rooms were spacious and every bedroom had an ensuite, except one. That one had a bathroom just outside the room, and the kids' room had a half bath. The pool was great. There are a ton of beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage, so we didn't even unpack ours. There was even a kayak in the garage! The second fridge was a blessing and the kitchen was well stocked. The only drawback was the amount of stairs (my knees are not great) but I would 100% stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a great place near the beach."
