"This was a perfect spot for our vacation. The walk to the beach was short which was perfect for taking our dogs out to the beach for the day. Hillary was great to work with and super responsive with any questions I had. We will definitely be back."

"The beach location and view were great and the State Park beach and bay were also beautiful to visit. Plenty of space in the house with comfortable beds and linens and a convenient elevator for moving groceries and luggage upstairs. Port St Joe was nearby (10 min) for restaurants and fresh seafood if you dont want to cook. Kitchen supplies could use a new inventory to accommodate large groups and I suggest supplying beach towels for the property as bringing them in our very full vehicle was inconvenient. Check in and out was very easy and convenient. This property was very peaceful and quiet with only a few people on the beach as it was the end of the season. Very nice vacation and thank you for hosting us!"

"My husband and I stayed for a week at Matt’s place and we had the BEST experience! The beach was such an easy walk and we spent many hours on the screened in porch listening to (and getting a little glimpse of) the water. There were very few people on the beach and it felt like we had it to ourselves. We would love to bring the family back and rent the entire house next time. Matt was the perfect host, even loaning us a couple of beach towels and a small cooler to use. He definitely went above and beyond as a host! Our two favorite places to eat were Quattro Locos and Indian Pass Raw Bar."

"Beautiful place! The views were stunning- especially the sunsets. We actually never left the house to go into town to eat or to do anything else. Our son and puppy absolutely loved the pool and fenced in back yard. The walk out to the bay was special- we saw little crabs and fish jumping out of the water and so many different types of birds- truly a wonderful place to see what Florida is really like beyond the typical beach stay. And the stars at night! Wow! Haven’t seen that many since I was a kid. It was so nice to enjoy a swim without others sharing the pool and having dinner on the screened in porch. This house is so worth it- and what we did see of the town looked like it had plenty of good restaurant options, a little shopping with an overall slow”slow and easy” feel. The few locals we did speak to were so nice and friendly. Really can’t say enough good things about it- my husband and I left feeling like we got a vacation ourselves for once (which can be tough with kids lol)"

"Overall it was a very nice place and very clean. It was hard walking to the beach, and taking everything we needed to sit on the beach, since the sand was so deep. I was disappointed that there was no recliner or easy chair to sit in, in the living room area. Also, there were not enough comfortable seats to accommodate the number of people sleeping there. The only shade at the pool was a broken umbrella, however, the pool was well taken care of and enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

"I love my dogs and also love properties that allow dogs but with that being said if you’re going to allow dogs, you should make sure that for each guest there’s not old dog hair And in our situation, it felt like they didn’t do a very good job cleaning. There was just dog hair behind the couches and behind the chairs and when you have a one year-old crawling around, she ended up with dog hair all over her. Other than that, the property was very nice. The downstairs room is basically useless. I would not want to put anyone in that bedroom. The bathroom and shower is nice to have though the location is absolutely perfect. We did really enjoy our stay."
