"The place is beautiful and was immaculately clean. It was a smooth check in with Andrea and Martine. Martine met us as we drove up and led us to the place, gave us a detailed tour and with Andrea, they both then gave us information about the area. They were both delightful.The place had everything we needed and we appreciated the welcome snacks!Eating breakfast on our outdoor patio was wonderful. We would come here again, hopefully soon!"

Million Euro View- Villa Mont Joie

"Mont Joie was an AMAZING experience for our family of 5. The villa is larger than it looks in pictures, and the views of the Dordogne and area chateaux are just as spectacular as you'd hope. The top two floors (living room/ kitchen, and upper bedroom) are well air-conditioned, which was a life-saver; 4 days of our stay were over 38C/100F, but the house stays much cooler. The pool was priceless, and stayed surprisingly cool and refreshing the whole time. We had a big car and didn't attempt the villa's parking space, but the nearest lot is less than a 5 minute walk away. Beynac itself is a fascinating little town, with its own rhythms and quirks that you start to learn during your stay, and Chateau Beynac is a stunning castle no one should miss when in the region. Finally, the owners' agents were so helpful and welcoming - they made our time in Beynac that much richer."

"Nous avons passé une semaine en famille formidable dans cette maison qui se divise en espaces de nuit et espaces communs permettant à chacun de vivre à son rythme. La vue est époustouflante offrant des couchers de soleil sans pareil et des réveils au rythme des départs de montgolfières. Nous étions dans notre cocon au milieu de la forêt et avons vraiment pu nous reposer. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil ! (En respectant les gestes pour ne pas faire entrer la chaleur par temps de canicule c’est à dire fermer les fenêtres et baisser les stores dans les chambres la maison a gardé sa fraîcheur toute la semaine tout en restant très lumineuse sur les espaces communs puisqu’elle est toute en baies vitrées)"

"Wonderful period property in the 'Perigord Noir' area of Dordogne. The house is very large with lots of bedrooms and was very comfortable. Great pool and fantastic outdoor eating area, with a 'plancha' grill, which was very popular. Great base to explore the valley and local villages. We also took canoes down the river, which was lovely."

"Great house, so much space and lots of rooms! Great facilities including a BBQ and a great outdoor table that accommodated 12 to 14 of us every night. Lots to do in the surroundings and great spot to explore the Dordogne region. Definitely recommend and Anthonin was an exceptional host, always available and ready to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He even came out to replace the gas bottle at 10pm one night when we ran out of gas for the BBQ and filled up the pool for us for our little kids!"
