"Beautiful "

"Love: the spa, the soaking pool, the fascinating history of the property, the art everywhere, the gardens, the live music, the quirky little variety of places to eat and drink! Some of the staff were amazing, especially at the spa. Needs improvement: mattresses, pillows, bedding, bedroom rugs, room furniture all need updates, are pretty worn. Rug in room is threadbare. Staff seemed irritated when I asked if there was more coffee/creamer (one or both empty each morning at 10/1030am). Need more vegetables and healthy choices on the menu, it was rough on my belly to eat bar food for all meals for 3 days. I also didn't love commentary from waitstaff about ordering a dessert by myself. "

"Skamania Lodge is a wonderful, family-friendly resort with plenty of activities for both kids and adults. The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a relaxing environment surrounded by beautiful scenery. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re looking for adventure or just a peaceful getaway. The food is also very good, which makes the overall experience even better. Highly recommend for a fun and comfortable stay!"

"The area is so quiet!"

"None of the rooms had a working air conditioner—the AC was completely nonfunctional. The staff informed us that their system is very old and will take time to replace, so please be cautious before booking. The male staff member at the reception was not helpful at all. Overall, the rooms were not very clean."

"This was our 3rd time in a 5-6 week span and it was the least favorite one. The bed we had was so firm it was hard to sleep, both mornings there was not coffee except for a machine in lobby. With all that, We will stay again & normally this is our favorite place when coming through town. Worth staying here even when they have a bad day! "

"I don't want to give a bad review. This is one of my favorite places to stay. I routinely book here. My experience wasn't great this time around. I was placed in the wrong room, appears my room was given to someone else. Anyone that books here knows room selection is key. The room I was given was nice and clean, the TV worked one day but not the next. Staff is always great, rooms are clean and city is friendly and welcoming. I will return and stay again."
