The grounds to the hotel are just stunning and the gym is well equipped. It would have been good to have had information in the room about the services and the hotel. The QR code didn’t work in my room. Great stay and would come back. "

"Excellent staff go out of their way to deal with your requests. Rooms looking a little tired in places. Maybe should have warned us before arrival that a wedding was taking place and the impact it would have on common areas. Breakfast buffet was fantastic."

"Staff very welcoming and bar staff very knowledgeable and pleasant.Bar meal on Friday evening was ok,had to ask a couple of times for the correct order.Breakfast was again ok,hot selection needs attention,maybe batch cooking rather than huge amounts cooked at one time?Due to family priorities didn’t use the spa unfortunately "

"Loots of showing. It was like stepping into the past of older England, I fell in love with this town. Everyone encountered was friendly and helpful. The staff was wonderful! If you just need a getaway, this could be you haven. :)"

"It was a lovely location, & very peaceful & quiet. Lily was a really nice host, & said a few times if there's anything you need let me know. The only negative we had, is the shower, it was far too small. We are 5'8 & could barely fit in there-we aren't overweight. If the shower could be made larger it would be much better."
